I am PROUD to announce that Monday Night LIVE! @ Café Gratitude will kick off on Monday, January 12th, 2009, with the first speakers being Matthew and Terces Engelhart – the owners of Café Gratitude, and the authors of ‘The Abounding River’, and “Sacred Commerce.”
I also have: Happy Oasis on January 19th, Elaina Love on January 26th, Rick and Karen Dina in February, Cherie Soria and Kevin Gianni in June, and many more!

Wow! What an AMAZING opening night for
Monday Night LIVE! @ Café Gratitude!
The place was packed,
the food was so good almost everything sold out,
and Matthew and Terces gave a wonderful
presentation on "Creating Sacred Community."

This coming Monday, January 19th,
Monday Night LIVE! @ Café Gratitude
is thrilled to present Happy Oasis!
Happy Heavenly Oasis is the founder
and CVO (Chief Visionary Officer) of
Raw Spirit Festival Inc,
and is dedicated to spreading the bliss
about living in healthy harmony.

Renowned as a "profoundly happy human being",
cultural anthropologist and author Happy Oasis says,
"Happiness is habitual," rouses us to "legalize happiness,"
and openly shares her Habits of Highly Happy People
in both books she's authored:
'The Bliss Book' and in 'Uncivilized Ecstasies.'

As of yet I have been unable to get the 5 minute
pre-event interview audio of Happy
talking about her presentation.
She is in a remote location in Hawaii and she has no cell service.
She was kind enough to call before she was to be unreachable,
but her message dropped every other word.
So - just come! It's Happy!
She is an amazing storyteller - it's going to be so much fun!

Well! Better late then never!
I just got my 5 minutes on the phone with Happy Oasis!
Happy, who is the Founder and CVO (Chief Visionary Officer)
for Raw Spirit Festival, a cultural anthropologist,

Happy took a few minutes from her travel schedule today
to call in from an airport in Hawaii.

and it took us (read that "Stephen') literally 5 solid days
to get even the first of the Happy Oasis videos uploaded.
It was a Total Drag.
Needless to say we are shopping for another internet video hosting site.

Monday Night LIVE! Update: Cecilia Benjumea Audio & Elaina Love Videos!!

This week's Monday Night LIVE! @ Cafe Gratitude was great!
Elaina Love came up from the East Bay and spoke about her own personal journey through raw foods and detoxification -

Elaina and I made a plan to co-present at Raw Spirit Festival in Santa Barbara this June! I am SO excited!

Cecilia Benjumea B.A. C.M.T is a raw food chef, educator, lifestyle coach and author - she's been a presenter at Rawstock, has helped with raw food retreats in Hawaii and has done photo spreads of her food for Living Nutrition Magazine. She lives in Petaluma - and she coordinates the Petaluma raw potluck the first Friday of every month.

Cecilia will talk about the healing journey she embarked on to heal from the emotional and physical causes of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and share what she has learned along the way. She will also talk about the key foods, recipes, and supplements that have been the most helpful to regaining her health and life back.

Laura Fox has appeared out of nowhere to save the day! I had a change in the schedule for February 9th, Lydia Kindheart asked to postpone her presentation, and I was really nervous about who I could get to fill such wonderful shoes... I was literally sitting at the computer pondering the situation, on the verge of hyperventilating, and I received an email from Laura... It just happens that she is going to be in the North Bay during the month of February and she'd LOVE to do a Monday Night LIVE! if there was a spot... I spent a day just shaking my head in amazement. So, THANK YOU Laura!

I'm going to be on Laura's Internet radio Show, Raw Inspirations, tonight for 5 minutes at the top of the show. It starts at 7 pm Pacific Time.

Monday Night LIVE! Update: Laura Fox Audio & Cecilia Benjumea Videos!!

First of all - GREAT NEWS!
We were (read that "I was") getting really tired of having to chop up all of the
Monday Night LIVE! video presentations up into 10 minute segments for YouTube.
I just thought it looked horrible,
and not many people were watching past the 2nd or 3rd segment.
So we (read that "Stephen") researched out another Internet Video Service Provider,
and we (again, "Stephen") reloaded all of the previous video over there,
so they can now be watched in their entirety!

Laura Fox's presentation, "How You Can Become A Visionary Steward", was amazing. Her energy and passion were both incredibly inspirational and thought provoking, and her conviction that we can all make a difference was wonderfully infectious!

Dr.'s Rick & Karen Dina: "Raw Foods: A Scientific Perspective."
5 Minute Interview with Dr. Rick Dina.

Dr. Rick Dina, D.C. has been studying health and nutrition since 1986 and has been a raw food vegan since 1987. He has worked at Hippocrates Health Institute, True North Health Education Center, and has taught at Bastyr University in Seattle (the flagship 4-year Naturopathic Medical School granting Doctorate degrees in Naturopathic Medicine).

Dr. Karin Dina, D.C. has been studying and practicing raw food nutrition since 1990. She earned her second undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Biology with Magna Cum Laude honors. In 1999, she began the naturopathic medicine program at Bastyr University. In 2002, after 2.5 years at Bastyr, she transferred to Palmer College of Chiropractic West to finish her doctorate degree and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2005.

In 2004 they founded The Living Health Chiropractic and Wellness Center (formerly Vitality Wellness Center) in San Rafael, CA wherethey offered chiropractic care, massage therapy, and educational programs. They consciously decided to close the center in September of 2008 in order to focus their attention on writing books, creating educational programs, travelling to raw events and creating a subscription-based website. They are still faculty members of the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA, where they teach four science-based raw food courses: Introduction to Raw Food Nutrition, Science of Raw Food Nutrition I, Science of Raw Food Nutrition II, and the Benefits of Raw Food Nutrition Educator Course.
