Give it to me Raw

for me, i live in burlington vt and we have so many amazing restaurants with local ingredients and such good food, and 95% of it is cooked:( it's so hard to walk down the road and not want to eat that food cause it's gonna make me feel crappy. i'm focusing on what i can eat, not what i can't, but i like eating out and trying other people's food. so that's one of my struggles.

I have seen some vegan singles group sites with vegetarians of all ages. Some of them are raw fooders too. You may have some raw food people doing potlucks close to you? When I was young I had my two babies and me, but I do think sometimes it makes us less wrapped up in me, when we have children to think about instead, other then that I had a lot of negative SAD people trying to make me normal, when I just wanted normal to change. I think it is wonderful to find so many people here now, that are not pushing that SAD is right.

Hello. I'm new to the site and am happy that I found this group. I live in Korea and have found it very hard to be 100% raw. So many social activities are set around food (as with most places). Unfortunately the restaurants here usually serve one big meal for the entire group. They are almost always meat based. As a vegetarian I was able to eat many of the delicious side dishes that come with every meal. Unfortunately now I won't even be able to do that as most of them are cooked or covered in mayo. I guess I'm just going to become known as the crazy foreigner who brings her own food everywhere. At least I can get away with that here. I don't think that restaurants in the west would be too happy with that.

I'm juicing now, so I've taken myself out of most functions with food, but I don't want to continue to do that forever. I miss the time with people.

Good luck to everyone. We have to stay strong, but remember that we are better for living this lifestyle. Hugs.

Wow, congradulations on finding raw and yes we have to stay strong and know that the healthiest food is raw food with the most balanced nutrients in homeostasis from nature. Which we would think would be the most abundant and easiest food to get !? Juicing is such a wonderful way to feed our bodies to help conteract generations of SAD eating, and for creating help for our poor depleted bodies.

I watch a lot of TV. For a normal person, it's probably too much, but for an aspiring TV writer, it's probably not enough. I watch Top Chef, Project Runway, Heroes, Gossip Girl, Greek, Biggest Loser, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and Bon...
