after having plateued with my raw food diet, i would like to start a juice feast, but i am not sure how?
is it just about drinking juices or is there a particular combination of fruits and vegetables i need to consume?

Many suggest a majority of green alkaline juices, and a minority of sweet neutral juices. I suggest fruit juices in the morning. Green juices for the day. A great mix is romaine lettuce, cucumber, celery, cayenne pepper. Man, don't get me started on green juices.

This raw food guideline thing is taken a big too seriously at times. I say, drink atleast a gallon of green juices a day, but i'm not you or anyone else. The most important thing to learn about life is trusting your own body. Listen to your gut. I say fruits in the morning because chances are they have the sugar to stimulate you for the rest of the day. Some mix greens into their morning juice. I prefer to drink the juice from a couple grape fruits or a few oranges... (the list goes on) then wait an hour or so and start sippin on my green juice every ten minutes or so. Listen to your tummy, it knows you better than I.
There's lots of free info at www.juicefeasting.com and you can also join for a month for $30 I think and get access to hundreds of files of information on different topics. Do check under the free info as their are full descriptions of the juice they recommend, what optional supplements you can add including hemp oil, coconut oil, bee pollen tc.
Enjoy! I'm on day ... I don't even remember. High 20's somewhere. I'm going until Feb 24, 2009 and loving it!

I think its more like religious (spiritual) people are inclined towards healthy eating (raw foodism/veganism) insomuch as they recognize the value of life (which is worth living)...
and the desire to enhance the quality of that life...
