I'm interesting in cramming in as much green juice into me, but don't want to lose weight. Does anyone here have good experience doing the juice feast, getting the glow in the skin and not losing weight? I'm sort of assuming to juice feast and supplement with tahini or adding avocado to the smoothies or something. What do you think?
Yes, just really drink the amount of juice feasting they recommend and also do the bee pollen and chlorella tabs allowed. I think you could add more fruit juice for more calories. I would say just add up what calories you need to intake approx for your weight and such and then get approx idea of how many calories are in your quarts of juice. It should work fine.
I recall on similar such as Master Cleanse with lemonade that it's totally possible not to lose weight by adding extra juice. What is your purpose, the glow? Because smoothies such as Victoria Boutenko's Green For Life recipes are also excellent for that without actually fasting.
Thanks for replying on this Cindy. Yeah, I love the glow I keep seeing when people consume the green juices and wonder how much they consume to get there. I love love love the green smoothies so I guess it's simply drink more of them without cutting out solid foods. I was just wondering if it took juice feasting to get there and cutting out the solids which might hinder things. Sounds weird a little to me now, but I still wonder.
Oh, forgot to say, that I don't really do that well with alot of fruit. I get a kind of intoxicated slur about my head - both in speech and thinking; and I really dig the savory foods and thrive better on them (ie, more fats, salt); still finding the balance, I guess, after 18 months raw.
sub-acids are my favourite - but they bastards don't leave the tops on them and i can't plant them.... i must go to a sub-acid farm and steal some!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Your dog is sooo cute! I have a dog too and two cats, and I looove them! I feed them wheatgrass and they actually choose that before regular grass wich they normally chew on in the garden.
I decided to have a 50/50 raw/cooked meal at Vita last night, having had a desire for warm meals for last couple of weeks. They had a Vegan Paella, it was amazing but it's only the second time I have had grains for a year and I had headache soon a...
It's actually surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. No machete required. Shave off the husk at the pointed top close to the shell. Then poke the point of a knife in about 2 or 3 cm out from the centre and wiggle it about until it pierces ...
Yes, I believe two out of the four pineapples I've had the last several months have been alright with me, after having let them "ripen" for some days. The one that turned out the best was one I stored in a bag of ripening bananas. I did the same t...
