Ok I think it's funny all these groups we create. But what is the most important thing here?! Hooking up- Of course!! I would love to hear about people who have met other raw people through this site or other raw networking and have hooked up!!

Here is a poor quality sounding video of a raw potluck that i held in my home last month...the next one is coming up this sunday coming the 29th! I just love potlucks and they are so much fun and to share with other folks is even more fun....i can t understand charging money for them?!(:

- I just thought I would also adddddd...that we shared not only scrumptious raw food but also lots of stories and experiences. We sat in a circle and each person had a some time to talk about anything they wanted to share with the group which was really lovely..and the things you learn tooooo!(:

- glad to be of inspiration to u....yeah i must admit i would offer a fee too just to share with other rawbees too ..but i still thinkits best to offer free after all everyone brings a raw dish and their thoughts to share(:

Comment by Viveca on March 23, 2009 at 8:01am - I prefer free potlucks, but I understand charging $2-3, if the potluck is listed as a Meet Up from Meetup.com since it costs the person who has the Meetup listing $15 a month. That is why I have my raw food group (and potluck) mailing list to be on Yahoo and use word of mouth. Our group is small (about 12 who attend the potlucks), but is growing. No one has offered a home, so we meet at a pavilion at the beach. Living in South Florida makes this practical at least 8 months out of the year.

I haven't tried yacon; I think it's still too sweet, technically. I believe stevia is truly the only natural sweetener that is not a form of sugar. When I add vanilla flavor and a little coconut oil to the stevia, it's kind of like maple...
