I have mint too. Two different kinds. Spearmint and Water Mint. The Water Mint is like Chocolate Mint. I get more from a potted Mint plant than a bag of mint, and they seem to cost about the same price. Who'd have thought? I could use some large leaf Oregano, variegated or not. It grows so easy from clones. Sage is nice for savory foods and spirituality.
I have a Mango tree that is a cross between a Hayden (#1 Hawaiian backyard fruit) and a common yellow one. The flesh is orange inside, the skin just peels right off and the fruit has the best flavor of the many varieties I have tried.
I have some pineapple growing. Harvest in about 12 months. Bananas on my tree need a couple more months. I left behind a Starfruit tree behind recently. I just discovered that the bitterness of Starfruit is only in the skin. Just cut the skin away and only goodness remains.
I didn't think that Abiu tastes like caramel. More like a sweet Lychee or Star Apple.
The Guavas should be getting ripe soon. If you can find it look for the Guava that is white on the inside. Common in Egypt. Very tasty!!
I would like to grow some Mamey and Green Sapotes some day as well as Jackfruit and Chempedak.
Growing pineapple is easy... I've seen my friend do it multiple times... just twist the top off of the pineapple (the green part), then let it soak in water for a few days, then plant it... it will grow into another pineapple!
just planted a celeste fig tree, and 7 papaya plants. Have some romaine lettuce, spinach, carrots, basil, radishes coming up. It is a real challenge here in Florida. My tomato plants are looking good. I hope to add a lot more to the garden and begin sprouting more indoors.
Nice! There is a fig tree, and lots of papaya trees I look after... I just got a bunch a different kinds of basil, a purple one, a green one, a thai... and the tomatoes here, nice yellow pear-shaped ones, very abundant right now =) Yup, my garden is expanding exponentially, well maybe not but it seems like it! And I'm going to be a sprout-master one day!
today I collected almost all of my tomatoes, almost becouse got to go to my other garden ( 6 miles from here ) and get produce from there too. Frost is lurking aroung mountains here for past couple of days, so I got me green tomatoes that are gonna finish growing in my paper bag technique. Also, got a ton of mint that will do just fine in my evening tea's.
thanks for suggestions and link but I prefer my diet without raw chocolate, and I barely use my blender for anything, allthou I got to do some apple souce with cinnamon soon 'couse got plenty of them apples ................

The best way to prevent a cold are to eat foods that are minimally toxic. That means eating mostly fruits and vegetables. Organic if possible. Raw. Fresh.
What also helps is getting plenty of rest and sleep. As much as you need.
And then all the...
