At a "farmers market" a person selling home made soap using essential oils was explaining how she was on her third level essential oil course. And that she had learned that you should not use essential oil "staight"...that it should be diluted first in a carrier oil. She went on to say that some oils can actually be dangerous if you do not do this. I frequently use essential oils and do not dilute them first. Can anyone comment as to the accuracy of what I was told?
Thanks
some essential oils will burn the skin if used straight. i have experienced this. as a form of perfume i can dilute them a little in fresh rose water kept in a tiny spray bottle. works fine. beware of using some straight. not all brands would have the same strength though.one of the local brands i use give modified strength to be used straight as perfumes on pulse points.
when you are massaging your body always use in some carrier oils. when i bath i put my favorite ones in my bath water, etc.
Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.
I irrigate my nose with salt water after almost every shift. I use a little bit of salt with my toothpaste every now and again. My silver fillings are pretty stable and I've noticed a metallic taste in my mouth whenever I use salt so I don't. Clov...
I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.
