I am completely unfamiliar with this story and curious to know more.

Ok, back after a quick google search.

It seems from first reading that rather than being about greed, it is more about providing and saving for future. The pharaos is told to put aside a certain portion of the harvest each year of plenty to provide during the years of lack.

In modern times, this can translate into the belief that you should have enough in savings to provide necessities for 6 month out of work, as well as a food storage for your family.

One rule of successful people is to "pay yourself first," then pay the bills. In other words, each time you get paid, place a predetermined percentage in savings no matter what bills are on the table, then pay those bills with what's left. Bills will always be there. Accumulated savings can be invested (real estate, car, ...), or can come in handy for emergency medical, accidents, etc.

Hi Christine,

this is the point,
try to "put aside" a certain portion of raw food for bout 7 or 14 years.......
and tell me what of its energy is left. And what of its energy is transformed in mice-shit. You have to preserve it, and some fungus and other germs will affect it too, and I think that these "parazites" were made for that sake, that not somebody crazy can "put aside" all the food - the "parazites" do, what the person that "puts aside" does to the rest of people around him.

I experienced vegan raw life as a way out of this illness.

I feel that eating alive and healthy food makes me alive and healthy. I rather eat fresh things than 14 year old corn. I feel, that if I would eat 14 year old corn and pay some biblic Joseph lots of money for it, I would need a lot of health - and other insurances, cause this realy cannot be healthy - not for my body - not for my soul - not for my mind - not for my life.

I think these days a lot about this story, and for me - this is the quintessence ftom this story.

thanks to answering, I´m greedy for people talking with me about it, and there´s a lack of such people......;-}. ....around me....
I think I have to put the few people aside........

The question is what your definition of "successful people" and "success" is....

we can only interpret meanings to our own persnal needs, like Essene Teachear of Rightiousness , they say is Jesus-Yashua. All the scriptures mean more than meets the eye. Like a story of Moses( Akhunaton, in truth ) who lead milions to freedom, yet the same story applies to Akhunaton, Egiptian King with wife Negretete, who led milions of those who objected official Egiptian rule of idol God, opposite of Sun God. We must read between the lines and find the meaning of it all, like a story of humble gardener killing his animal sheperd brother. How can it be, that peaceful gardener can commit a crime upon animal hearder/abuser/farmer who raises animals for sloughter. ...Find and search, like a gospel of young boy in Palestine who accidently turned all children of that village into goats ! ( story of young blessed one who did not fully understand his powers ). Read, find and learn..........................peace be with thee.........................
