Give it to me Raw

Helloo!!!
i have been a bout 80% for ages now and i just havent been able to get to 100%. i think becase of the lack of variety in my diet and the rediculasly carnivious enviroment i live in. i recently have found lots of more ingreedients availble in my area and heaps of great recipies on the net ... and magically, for the first time in 2 years, my partner has started to take a positive interest in being raw ... . yesterday he even told me ... baby i think i understand why you are vegertarian (... little does he know that i am vegan ... eheheh)

so in the space of awesome inlightenment and positive energy and after two days of too much cooked food,(and feeling grossssssssssse!!!) i think i am finally ready to give 100% another go.

tomorrow i am going to set out on an expriment. to see if i can maintain 100% for the next 7 days. i am going to journal each day and keep track of my feelings.

with the new group in mind .. i would like to ask you guys for any inspiration or moral support to keep me going! for some transition is very easy .. for me it has been a crazy, fun, amazing and difficult journey.

alternatively, maybe i could inspire some of you guys too, any other semi-rawers want to rise to the challenge with me? (maybe you can go from 50% to 80% (i doesnt have to be 100%) how ever you feel comfortable)

hi june.
this is the food i have planned to eat for the next 7 days.

i have bought watermelon, coconuts, pineapple, melon, bananas, lemons, advocados, strawberries, almonds (dates -- but i have eaten them) spinach, alfalfa, mushrooms, cucumber, orange, persimon, lettuce, tomatoes, raw ammaranto and oats, peanuts, tamarind, clorophil, gogi juice, honey, agave, seawead, hearbal teas.

i planned to drink juice and eat fruit in the morning and have my first "meal" at about 1. i planned to eat a salad of have a smoothie. in the afternoon i will have to eat more fruit to help my energy levels (because all my dates are gone!! ehehe) i think pineapply juice will be nice for that. and dinner can be another salad or a smoothie if i am really hungry. ( i am usually not really hungry in the evenings but i eat something little to have a meal with my partner.

my emotional state has been pretty constant the past few days. except a few mild cravings for a cigarette, (and a horrible headache) i am pretty good. stress levels are low-moderate and things are good.

thanks again for your support!! i look foward to hearing from you soon!!

HI CINDY,

I want to assist you as Self, so if i have all these goodies at home, i would do these:
I would buy some greens, like arugula/spinach/parsley etc.
plusstaples in my smoothies: hemp seed nuts (1 T per smoothie plus 1 T flax seeds for protein and essential fatty acids)

Breakfast:
Smoothie (easy to digest and full of goodness):
fruits 2 kinds (base is avocado and/or banana) plus hemp seeds, flax plus carob powder or cacao nibs 1 T
a handful parsley and spinach
2 c water or young coconut juice

Blend!!!

Note: Vary the fruit ingredients to ones you like just make sure it's not so sour or bitter so look for taste contrasts.

Salads:

Wraps are handy for me:

I will buy:
for my wrapping :
romaine lettuce
dried nori sheets

for my "not" meat
raw organic health bars cut up for meat
or almonds semi ground plus cumin to taste with salt and pepper

You are all set!

Hot tea for winter:
jasmine
green tea
camomile
etc.
note: the ones you like

dessert

make or combine nut butters, sweeteners and cacao or carob and put it in a jar. Spread it on a banana slice or whatever fruit.

The dressing for salads:
Combine tamarind, nama shoyu, apple cider or lemon with bit of sweetener

It's actually surprisingly easy once you get the hang of it. No machete required. Shave off the husk at the pointed top close to the shell. Then poke the point of a knife in about 2 or 3 cm out from the centre and wiggle it about until it pierces ...
