RAW ALMONDS
I have a source for RAW almonds. All the almonds you buy in the store and online are pasteurized. No matter what they say it's the law that if you sell almonds and ship them in the country they must be pasteurized unless you pick them up at the orchards.
Now some companies might be selling raw almonds illegally, I don't know and nor do I care, but if the price quoted is right 6/7$ a pound that's pretty darn good. And no not even the ones at whole foods etc are raw. If you want raw almonds you have to go get'm.
Thing is that I am getting them from California and you can only pick up a 100lbs per person each day there. (who ever wrote these stupid laws I'd like to do some butt kicking).
Anyway I'm planning on taking a road trip or to have them shipped here when the crop comes in.
If anyone is interested please let me know. I hope to come back with 200-300lbs of almonds and will charge their cost plus a bit more for gas or shipping at no profit to me. Still even if comes out to 10lb a pound your saving money.

Thank you for your positive words everyone. I've been raw for 8 months and it was simply dissappointing to have gone through such a binge! Besides I felt physically awful!
