The Raw Spirit Festival is a non-profit organization* and we're going to need lots of volunteers to make this happen. The Washington D.C./Maryland/Virginia area volunteers will be given free admission and the opportunity to camp on site. All others will pay admission and must find accommodations outside the park. The good news is that the prices have been lowered to make it affordable to everyone!
*Raw Spirit Festival, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization

I'm just curious about whether there is an active raw food community in the DC area? While many of my friends are self described foodies, very few of them are vegetarian, let alone raw or vegan... would be great to meet (and maybe exchange tips, tricks, recipes, etc ;) with others who enjoy lots of fresh, vibrant, beautiful foods.

Comment by Seeker on February 7, 2009 at 5:17pm - I just came from Everlasting Life on GA Ave, the best Raw Vegan/Vegan Restaurant in DC! (The Best Vegan Res. Soul Vegetarian (GA Ave) and The Vegetable Garden( Rockville)). Anyway, I am happy to say that Everlasting life is undergoing construction (the restaurant is still open) and they will soon have seating!!! I cannot wait, I love that place!!! I am so happy that they are growing!!!!

Jas~~back it off a bit...i upped my dose from 2 T to 3T for 4 days and it was tooooo much...had a severe headache every one of those days....so today im not having any,and tomorrow i will start again with my regular dose again...i increased mine p...

Makes sense to me cos I have them. I used to just have one but after your post I had a further look and I have about 6 more. Some of mine are slightly raised. Recently I have decrease my fat intake by around 75%
