In response to the Kale comment in Costa Rica - it is not organic, but I purchased kale, I am 99% sure, at Saretto Market in Escazu. I also know a guy who has a raw food retreat down in the beautiful valley between San Isidro and Dominical.
Has any body in this group visited any permaculture/organic/raw communities here?

if you google joya del sol you can find the place. It is right now mainly just a rancho with tent sites, but it is on a beautiful property with waterfalls and the owner is a raw foods chef.
