I realize that when I can't recall tasks, it's not because there's something wrong with me or I have poor memory (in with the word memory would be wrongly used for something that can be recalled and therefore never left) it's beCAUSE there is an underlying cause such as lack of sleep. This was demonstrated when I was tired and had to do something six times before finally getting it done. I believe ill health can cause it as well. I think basically what it comes down to is the inability to function and then the mind comes in and says "what's wrong with me" as if there's something inherently wrong with me.
Have you tried taking anything? Certain b vitamins (lack of) can cause insomnia. Melatonin can really help someone to fall asleep and reset their internal clock. Also DHA would be a good thing to try. I want to get that next!!
It is interesting that a lack of B vitamins can cause insomnia, I wonder how one could naturally balance a life-it to keep from having a lack of B vitamins.
Back when I was really sleep deprived I did try Melatonin and it did not seem to do anything to me even when I took time more than the recommendation.
DHA is a hormone is it not? I heard the one should get their hormone levels checked before taking any hormones to balance them out.
im confused. matt monarch swears by regular colonic hydrotherapy. its his no.1 raw tip, didn't think it could be dangerous but now it kind of makes sense. enemas seem much more natural in comparison.
I've heard great, great things about Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA. I know that isn't really in the Los Angeles area, but it's still in CA and I believe they provide students the option to stay in their 'Living Light Inn'....
The way I see it is that generally people who label themselves are confident of the path they have chosen while,also generally, people don't don't label aren't quite as sure if what they're following is the right way to go.

things that have actually worked for me:
Valerian root for tea - very calming...
Lemon juice, sliced lemon peel, lemon grass or lemon verbina, raw honey, star anise (optional), maybe some ginger, hot water (let it all infuse together for a while) ...
