I live west of Chicago at the moment in a town called Naperville. Would anybody like to meet for dinner at Karyn's, Cousins IV, or Borrowed Earth Cafe? Single guy here looking to meet interesting people.

We are making an effort this year to 'GREEN' our potlucks - PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN DINNER PLATE, NAPKIN, REFRESHMENT, UTENSILS - thank you!.

We usually spend about $15 - $20 on a dish.
Please follow sanitation guidelines below.

We appreciate everyone eating in an orderly fashion, trying perhaps half of the dishes and moving thru the line QUICKLY and RESPECTFULLY - taking a small amount of the dishes you try so everyone gets to try a lot of dishes.

BRING YOUR INGREDIENT LIST WITH YOUR NAME ON IT! No nama shoyu, no Braggs amino acids, no dairy, no hidden chemmies.

WE ARE ASKING FOR A $5 DONATION TO COVER OUR EXPENSES AND TO HELP KEVIN WITH HIS FUEL COSTS!!!

Ellie is looking for volunteers.

We also need someone to show up early and bring nametags (75) and markers.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO HELP WITH SET UP AND TO BE GREETERS. Please contact Ellie to volunteer.

Questions about your dish, the potluck, to bring paper goods, or a cash donation, or to volunteer pls contact Ellie – blisfulgrl@yahoo.com

BADASH climber - I LOVE Stanley's!! My husband and I discover it earlier this summer. I'm so glad we did, we used to get all our produce at Costco and Jewel.

Does anyone know of a raw restaurant in Chicago other then Karen's and Cousins? I've been to Cousins a couple of times, I really like it, bit I want some variety.

There is Borrowed Earth cafe in Downers Grove, which is worth the trip. And Chicago Diner used to offer a raw entree every day - I believe they still have raw items on the menu, although not extensive.

Hi, I just wanted to add regarding Borrowed Earth. I pick up food weekly to add to my raw meals and it is delicious! Kathy and Danny Living do a wonderful job...you won't be disappointed! They also have an amazing story of how they created this space. If it helps, here is the link: http://www.borrowedearthcafe.com/
