Give thanks for this Forum.

Yes more and more I realize that this is what I need and desire.
I find myself becoming more aware of my breath and how when breathing
deeply (without exerting to much effort) I often loose my appetite for solids
and liquids, especially if I'm in the presence of the sun.

Being connected to the breath has also in a clear subtle way allowed me to
realize how food can be an addiction. I have also developed the habit of becoming aware of the breath when I'm eating and how the food that I'm partaking in is effecting my breathing and how this plays a role in my attitude towards life and the present moment.

Give thanks,
JWebb

Yeah - it is odd at beast to have to mention to people to

'PLEASE BREATH .. AND BREATH AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT "

:))

It's odd, but just about everything us humans do is odd. I mean we are considered odd by the masses because we eat real food. A sigh is nothing more than a conscious exhale.

I think you're right... It all boils down to water..vapor.

Oh man i'm terrible.

So then, a breatharian would starve in zero humidity ;)

I think there is more to it . . . sure water plays a role

Peace and Blessings.

I give thanks for everyone in this group discussion and for posting there thoughts.

I'm just curious to know where everyone is on there "raw food" journey and how that plays a role in your personal relationship with the awareness and acknowledgement of the breath?

I know that when ever I'm practicing being aware of my breath and practicing
breathing techniques, I find myself desiring less and less solid food. Especially during the spring, summer and early fall.

Please share...

Give thanks,

Ryan, Yeah i was just making a terrible joke. After all, water is roughly 1/3rd oxygen. I say roughly because according to many, water is much more than H20 when "alive."

Joseph, i feel you. Maybe it has to do with the sun, after all those are the seasons with more sun, compared to winter. I'm about 6 and a half months into being 100% raw food eater. I knew before changing my diet that the breath has a huge impact in the way i feel and perceive things at all times. But since i have been raw, i use it alot more to curb desire and when mixed with intent, it helps me rewire my brain if you will. Thanks to everyone as well.

Molly I would have to say that breath is only automatic when you forget about it.
No different than your heartbeat. The heartbeat is just a bit harder to get control of, but not impossible.

This is what my mom recommends too. The thing is I live in a high-rise building in NYC, so I'm definetely not "grounded". The grounding bed technology makes sense, but it doesn't feel natural to me. Has anyone tried it? Did you notice any changes...

Would soaking them help? I've read that nuts in general has alot of anti-nutrients & soaking is always suggested.
