Give it to me Raw

I was strolling slowly through my local asian market, amidst the brightly colored isles of tomatoes, peppers, and young coconuts, when I caught a glimpse of some extremely cute little buds of tender delightfullness - baby bok choys! I rushed over to grab a few, (and the price wasn't anything to grimace at either!) and thus began my obsession. I started to juice them easily, small bud by bud, and savor their delicious and light flavor among the other constituents of my daily green juice....and then I graduated to adult bok choy!

LOL I love your story, especially about graduating to the adult variety! I wonder if the more mature plants have more nutrients than the younger ones?

Isn't it usually the other way around Wendi? And aren't you supposed to be out enjoying the beautiful day? :D

I have no idea, that's why I was asking. :-P

I did go out and enjoy the beautiful day! We took the puppy for a long walk and tried to train her to not pull--that was interesting! She's a strong, energetic pup! What did you end up doing today?

XOXO

I've always heard that young plants denser nutrients to help them grow to big plants/ veggies. I'm not sure though, lol. ;)

Judging from the price comparison, I would think [or at least hope] that baby bok is more nutrient dense. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part since I love this variety. :)
