Avocado in Atlanta?!
Hey all, I just relocated from Southern California (local, organic produce heaven) to Atlanta. I can't find a decent avocado. It's freaking me out, cuz I live off the things. I went to a couple of local farmer's markets (I'm in Smyrna), and there were only a few vendors offering a little produce. It was mostly cooked food (breads, meat, tortilla chips, cakes and such). I'm willing to drive for good produce, preferably organic, but even conventional, if it's better than what I'm finding close to home. Any suggestions? Any Asian markets where I can get coconuts? I miss the daily sunshine fix I had in the OC, but not the rent I was paying, so I'm here for the long haul. Any help is much appreciated!

Check out the Dekalb Farmers Market. They usually have both organic and non organic avocados. They also have coconuts...they sell them by the box (9) and individually. Here is their website: http://www.dekalbfarmersmarket.com/. Check out meetup.com for raw potlucks...there is one every Sunday.

I lost my ear candling virginity last week, lol. My friend and I didn't have any problems, just really relaxing. So do it with a friend so someone can watch the flame. have fun :)
