Raw Food Meetups in ATL
Hey bro, how are the meetups in ATL? Do you have a good community base out there?

I know exactly one raw person in Atlanta other than myself. There is one meetup group that I am aware of, but it meets in a suburb pretty far outside of the city. We do have two raw restaurants in town, one is take-out only, the other i have yet to visit.

There are currently 3 different Atlanta-area raw potluck groups on Meetup.com. Between the three of us, there is a potluck on every Sunday of the month (except the 5th, when that happens)!! Yes, we meet in the suburbs (Roswell, Alpharetta and Marietta), but it's usually an easy drive out on a Sunday. Please visit Raw Food Atlanta on Meetup.com if you're interested! I'd be up for meeting next week with one or more people here in Atl. I'd rather get together in the afternoon right now. I was hoping there would be an afternoon concert to go to, or some other interesting idea- even going to a raw restaurant. Let me know if anyone is available!

I do Meetups in Dallas, which is NW of Atlanta. A little bit of a drive, but most definitely worth it! :D LOVE having people come here and bringing food and eating mine! :D Ah..... heaven!

The community here is "not". lol. Sunshine (who replied earlier) does raw potlucks, and I've been trying to go to one of those for a while, but IN atlanta, there's really nothing. There is one raw restaurant (WAY south), and a Live Food Delivery van... community though? Not much. We really really really really really really need one! Let's get this thing ON! :)

Ani Phyo would be good, given your ingredients. I like Ani Phyo's Raw Kitchen. Her stuff is very sweet and heavy, though, IMHO.
