do you take thyroid replacement hormone as well? i would like to stop taking it but dont want muck things up, i mean do the people that sell this stuff think that it can replace thrt? i mean i dont even get that great results with the levo thyroxine i take 100mg daily... i kind of wonder why.... fear?
yes, I started on synthroid then switched to armour and then switched back to one 90 mg synthroid - then my endocrinologist suggested adding cytamel to the mix. I think you hit the nail on the head: trust .... whom do you trust... for now I am taking the pharma meds but look forward to healing the imbalance. btw - check out www.Shentrition.com - I think they know more about healing than my endocrinologist.

Fear can cause too much cortisol secretion and affects the adrenals and thyroid negatively. We must be in a place of peace and safety to heal. We do have to believe that we can heal and that what we are using is healing for us. With that said for thyroid take 3000mg of L-Tyrosine with Kelp (iodine) and a B vitamin complex as a cofactor on an empty stomach so that the Amino acid can cross the blood brain barrier. Drink as little or no caffeine as possible and do this for a wek or so and see what happens :)

BTW take rhodiola rosea for its adaptogenic qualities for trauma and fear this will help the cortisol problem. So will phosphatidylserine. its great for lowering cortisol and will actually get rid of belly fat (which is a key indicator of stress)
Thanks I'll check them out. btw - I listened to an interesting radio program on Dr. Oz's XM radio program as several guests named ashwagandha the "Number 1" herb for calming effects.
I heard about Bach Flowers years ago but recently decided to check them out after a google search. I think Bach Flowers helped dissipate the thyroid symptoms of brain fog and sensitivity to cold weather. I just add 4 drops to a glass a water or cup of tea and
try to take it a few times a day. Here it is late September and the cool weather isn't bothering me like it did for years.
I need a mango now more than ever.
This year has been the worst mango season I've ever seen :( Honey mangos were sad with light colored flesh that held little flavor...Kent mangos...don't even make me go there.
Last year was an AMAZING mango yea...
