Glad you like it, Tele! I just saw the author interviewed, and it was very interesting - apparently we are just totally cued by combinations of high-reward tastes of fat, sugar + salt, and the more they are combined, especially if there are so many other cues like social rewards, attractive environment or wrapping, entertainment etc - then the more the opiates and endorphins kick in. So I guess it's a big thumbs-up for mono-meals (or at least very simple ones as often as possible) too!

yeah...I tend toward mono meals (could part of the reason be laziness? yes!)

We also have to consider the additives other than just fat, sugar and salt. I'm thinking of things like excitotoxins, which seem to be in all junk foods these days.

We may be better off eating 30 bananas a day! lol.....durianrider is right!

Absolutely, durianrider is right!
For me, eating a high fruit, low fat diet has solved so many problems.
By eating sufficient quantities of fruit, and keeping fat to a minimum, the body gets what it needs, and the binging ceases.

I think that approach can work for many.....but not all. And other plans have been wonderful, too, for others.

Using the words "for me" instead of "for everyone" sounds better to me also. It leaves room for those who thrive on something else.

I'm still experimenting with 80/10/10 for short periods and plan to continue as summer approaches.

Yeah So many people are in denial or blame themselves that they can't get to the root of the probem. I have this pea protein shake mix that makes me starving. So I can't eat that on a regular basis. Even though protein is supposed to be so importat I have come to the conclusion that low protein is better for me.

I also feel like it is more than media, activation, chemicals, etc. I feel like a person develops a weakened immune system and then becomes a host to certain organisms like candida. Then the candida controls their life.

Then they become suseptible to cancer and auto immune diseases. The infection stage can work two ways. One way makes a person skinny and they stay that way no matter what they eat and other people gain weight and can't lose it. The basis of this article is important in that a lot of this is beyond peoples control. To make any progress at all people need to have empathy for this reason because hating people because they are fat or whatever is never going to make the word a better place.

Yeah, beef raises insulin more than oatmeal. I ate high-protein for some time and was always hungry even though I was eating lots and lots.

one thing is though ..all natural plants have some amount of sugar, salt and fat in them. So this could be applied to spinach. ...or maybe I am wrong. I really believe in monomealing at this moment. Whichever diet you choose to follow. I guess i do this excluding green juice, but i try to keep to 3 or 4 green max.

i would just like to add that my "go to stress food" totally follows these guidelines. ....bread with melter cheese. it's always something along those lines! hmmm
