I started a group called Dogma in raw lifestyle to express my detest to this tendency to resort to metaphysical explanations here. I had to delete it, however, because no one joined.
High proportion of the population is religious and they will definitely try to marry their believes with this lifestyle. I had also some debate about what so called breatharianism. I was surprised to see lots of talk, in that group, about angels and spirits as the bases for their practice. I don’t think you can change a deeply religious person so all what you can do is read their discussions as comedy.

I tend to agree. I wouldn't eat an animal because I consider myself a herbivore, but I don't think a carnivorous animal would hesitate to eat me if they were hungry. They'll look out for themselves first!

The blender tried to eat me once. There was a piece of fruit stuck at the bottom so I turned the blender off to get it out, but I guess I leaned against the power button and it nearly chopped off the tip of my finger. *facepalm*

lol Oooh yeah. I had to get stitches, The bone was broken, and the entire nail was destroyed, so it had to be removed. I wore a cast for about six weeks. It's 100% back to normal now, but it took a year to fully recover.
I've started this group in order to find and link with people who eat raw food in and around London too. We can share ideas and books, meet up for potlucks and even go out for meals together
