Give it to me Raw

Hey ever since going raw, I haven't been eating a big variety of veggies. I feel like i should be consuming more. I do get a variety of greens. What are some good veggies that are easy to digest raw? So many vegetables seem to be hard on digestion. How can I get that variety I used to have.

Fermented foods are fantastic and have been eaten for generations. People around the world that consumed some type of fermented food lived longer lives. This is of good bacteria which inhabits our stomach. It helps up efficiently break down our food to be absorbed by the body. Those with low or with an unbalanced number of bacteria do not do well and will become ill if action is not taken.

You will need to buy your self some non-dairy culture first then follow the recipes. I personally don't eat that much garlic or hot pepper anymore so omit what ever you want. Make sure you have a high starchy veg though along with the cabbage to provide some sugar for the bacteria to thrive on during fermentation :)

I made that recipe once. I think I like it better without the juniper berries (and with a bit of salt).

I like juniper in a gin and tonic;-P

No probiotics help to fight off candida.

Or you could follow the ancient civilizations which have thrived so well on such foods instead of relying on new school mumbo jumbo. Sometimes I feel as if we are moving ass backwards. Use ancient wisdom to your disposal! :)

Just they lived in better conditions than we did and ate ALL organic and ONLY drank fresh water. Not bottled shit. Fruits and veg are not mumbo jumbo. Read the post a little better. I was referring to the new school theories as mumbo jumbo. Also there were quite a lot of alchmists at that time which created powerful decoctions which were used to improve health and increase vitality. None of the people you mentioned were fruitarian. I am sorry but that is the way it is. Everything that Rawzi said as well is quite accurate.
