So after going mental eliminating and adding in different foods that I thought might be irritating my skin the real culprit was the coconut oil! expensive brand, totally unrefined, and cold pressed too! i can eat coconut oil totalyl fine but it just doesn't jive with my skin, apparently. just wanted to know what people use as a moisterizer?? Thanks!

i personally use coconut oil most of the time, but since that doesn't work for you, have you tried olive oil? Also sometimes i get shea butter though kinda pricey. Also after I add aloe to smoothies, i use the leftover on my skin.
i use coconut oil everywhere but my face. its a bit greasy for my face. i use the bee yummy moisturizer right now but i'm also a big fan of tonya zavasta's "your right to be beautiful" cream. in fact, i'd say thats been my favorite.
I'm still using coconut oil but not always feeling awesome about it. Going to pick up some avocado oil next time I'm out and about. I have combination-ish skin too. Winter has been tough on it.

I looove avocado oil on my face!! It totally plumps out my fine lines (and supposedly boosts collagen production). It's one of the best oils for dehydrated skin. I have combo skin but it gets line-y and dehydrated at the same time as being a bit oily. Avocado oil definitely agrees with my skin. It also makes my lips more pink!
Coconut oil does nothing for my face (but I like it everywhere else;)
My best friend absolutely loves argan oil! XD It's quite expensive though, so I haven't tried it yet...
I have been using jojoba oil when my skin gets 'tight' and it doesn't feel greasy at all (I have combo skin too). And it keeps really well too, since it's a wax (most oils go rancid after a while, especially unsaturated oil such as evening primrose and starflower, which you should keep in the fridge).
Coconut oil smells nice but it doesn't work for my skin either...
