We only have time because of the sun and planets. If we didnt have those, there would no longer be a day or a week. All that is illusion.
There is NO beginning and NO end. So wherever we move to, we really have not moved.
We will be this way eternally. Always here, forever. No matter what shape or form.
We have also been everything there is to be. We have been murderers, warriors, queens, slaves, men and women. All right here.

Yes- there is only now and all else (the past and the future) are only thoughts because they are not what is right now. I've been reading the Tao Te Ching and A New Earth and pondering these concepts.
What that quote describes is the Hindu concept of Maya, or illusion: Under the influence of the three gunas, the soul is (1) misled by matter, and (2) subsequently entangled and entrapped. This tendency is termed maya (illusion).
Under maya's influence, the atman, (the soul) mistakenly identifies with the body. He accepts such thoughts as "I am white and I am a man," or "This is my house, my country, and my religion." Thus the illusioned soul identifies with the temporary body and everything connected to it, such as race, gender, family, nation, bank balance, and sectarian religion. Under this sense of false-ego (false-identity) the soul aspires to control and enjoy matter. However, in so doing he continuously serves lust, greed, and anger. In frustration he often redoubles his efforts and, compounding mistake upon mistake, only falls deeper into illusion.

here meaning in the NOW. So, considering all the lifetimes we, each had experienced, the Now is teaching us something-finally. We are getting the messege imprinted in us from the very beggining of human excistence, we must live in the Now. Past is past, now is now, future is all based on our in the moment decission ,aking. Now will create future, in accordance with present behaviour.Now has no begging and end, its always eternal. Now is the answer to all . We had experienced many steps in a ladder of Life( thanks Jacob ), thanks to many reincarnations we all been throu, many strange realities but also we have been paying close attention to those experiences and are getting that picture. We remember being this and that in our past lifes, not always proud of it but learning from it.
Let the class begin. Lets talk about our not so proud past lifes. Well, lets not. Instead , let's concentrate on the mission we are just about to fullfil, based on past mistakes. We are correcting those mistakes and with Heavenly Grace we are learning something finally and we do not want to repeat those mistakes again.

well there is a beginning - the universe as we know it began - it's not infinite. Given what we know about physics now - it's logical that the universe will end as well - either in heat death or cold death (depending on whether you agree that the universe will spread indefinitely - or collapse on itself).
that said, matter and energy are infinite - neither created nor destroyed - just changed into different forms. From that perspective, the atoms you are composed of are as old as the universe - the only difference is your consciousness to reflect on the particulars of yur matter. your consciousness (you) is very temporary - I don't remember things beforeI was born and imagine I won't remember things after I die.
consciousness is like tears in the rain.

*Imagine we are infinite awareness units co-existing together, creating games for our own purposes while agreeing with each other that the physical universe will be the playing field.
*We are static and move viewpoints around but WE don't move-we appear and disappear at will.
* Time is a CONSIDERATION used to gauge the change of particles in space, there is only NOW in fact.
* These are just a few Axioms { basics we can use because they've proven to be true in experience] from the study of life knowledge and how to know it, by perceiving, looking and understanding what one perceives.

Agreed. Outside of our physical Matter, Energy, Space andnTime this is true. That is, outside of our "physical" reality / frequency vibration, time does not exist. And yes, we are eternal - we are spiritual beings having a human experience.Not the other way around ;-)

This quote is consistent with the perspective that there is only god, and this god is infinite and eternal.
So what does this mean in terms of our lives? Perhaps that there is nothing to seek out, because that which we seek we already are. That while our bodies were born and will die, there is a part of us that was never born and will never die. That the eternal is available to us in our human form when we can experience the now, which is eternal.
