Herbal tea (especially when I am really cold), I've used non-raw versions of ingredients until I could get the raw version (cocoa, apple cider vinegar, etc.), sprouted grain breads such as Manna, rice in sushi occasionally, rice paper for wraps, and some items my non-raw family makes when we go to family dinners.
Yet another high-raw person eating quinoa. I feel good and strong eating some cooked quinoa several times a week.
I also still eat cooked beans on my evening salad. I soak them overnight and cook them in my crock pot. I'm not saying it's the ultimate, but I feel grounded eating them a few times a week. Certainly nothing to go from 100 % raw to eating though.
I was doing quinoa for the longest time but the last few times I've eaten it, it left me feeling really weighed down and un-energetic, kinda like how I'd feel in the old days after eating a bowl of pasta. I've been doing well without it.

I made this back in February and yes it's all raw. It's dehydrated sprouted crackers from Rainbow, with cashew cheese, tomatoes, pesto, avocado and arugula.
I would ask him if he is interested in making a dietary change and if he shows interest then that's great! If not, be a shining example of health and hopefully one day he will come around. He has to do it when he is ready otherwise he will feel it...
