I lived in Sedona for 4 months. Lovely. A bit too cold in winter and hot in summer for me though as I like to be outside nearly 100% of the time (including sleeping).
Also a bit too detached for me. Very interesting people and events there though and lots of interesting places to explore. I will be content to visit often!
Amen to the tropical part of Australia. I'm definitely drawn there. I love to spend the summer down here in the south (Melbourne) and the winter in the north (as northern as I can get!).
Agree with Debbie as a UK raw foodist I am looking for sunshine and an abundance of fresh fruit and coconuts. When I visit Goa, being raw is effortless and I adore the warmth of the sun. Currently considering raw food/yoga communities for winter 2009/10
