Hi All:
I'm still at the beginning of my journey into raw and trying to find some recipes that I won't tire of. Right now, I've got time off from work to experiment, but when I return to work I'll need some recipes I can prepare on the weekend to take me through the week. I've got quite a few raw cookbooks and have been doing some playing in the kitchen, but I still haven't found a lot foods I don't tire of after a couple of days. I do drink green smoothies everyday and don't tire of those for breakfast, so I need recipes for lunch and dinner -- simple ones would be especially appreciated. You don't need to type the entire recipe here (unless it's otherwise unavailable) -- just tell me what book or website you got it out of and I'll find it. Tell me what you love enough to eat everyday. Thanks!

For workdays, I've been making some savory nut pates (walnust, sundried tomato, a little garlic, herbs of your choice, oregano is good) packing into small 1/2 c. containers, not all the way full, then cutting up cucumbers, red or green bell peppers, grape tomatoes, and a large amount of sprouts. I do 2 days worth of these. Each day I make a green salad and usually bring a piece of fruit along too. I might bring a few flax crackers along too.
Pates are good since I can vary the seasonings so much, I usually make them pretty spicy. I made one today with coconut, cashews, lime juice, jalapeno, garlic, cumin, ginger, and almost an entire bunch of cilantro, plus some salt of course. It's heavenly :)
I love to make nori rolls stuffed with lettuce, alfalfa, mung bean sprouts (the long tails ones), avocado, tomato, cucumber with a dipping sauce made from sesame oil, lemon juice and tamari. Really easy, I often make these at work. I just keep the ingredients in the fridge there. Or you can make it up as a salad with the dipping sauce as a dressing and just wrap that up in the nori before eating.
I have to have at least 2 blenders of smoothies.
Usually the base is bananas, plus whatever fruit I have-strawberries, peaches, pineapple,
kiwi, apricots...
What is nori rolls..........
sounds like what i used to have, which is seaweed, with a whole heap of stuff wrapped up in it, avo, tomato, cucumber, raraa.........same thing?
I stopped having seaweed cos someone said it had tonnes of salt in it, so would store water in the body?

Lately it is lots of really big salads. I love salads. I love cutting all the beautiful greens and reds.--always different. Also everyday I have a big smoothie. Lately I have been feeling way too hungry so I have added some yummy nuts. They seem to satisfy me.
