cool! I like to read several different things as once...... Atlas Shrugged, Walden II, Tales of ordinary madness, Middlesex, On the road, Guide to edible plants, The man who mistook his wife for a hat.

sure is! I need to take a break from the other books so I can just finish it already! My BF and I had a contest once to see who could read the count of Monte cristo the quickest

The Count of Monte Cristo is my favorite novel of all time. A true page-turner. I read it when I was 23, and I want to read it again in my 40's to see what how my perspective would change about it. I'm looking forward to it :-)

There was a French film adaptation (with English subtitles) in the late 90's, starring Gerard Depardieu (sp?) as Dantes/Count. With very few exceptions, the film followed the book exactly, and was broken into 4 parts, 90 minutes each (a 6 hour movie!!). Absolutely fantastic work!

Gerard Depardieu, what a Ga-rate actor, he made Cyrano Dubergerac (sp?) and Green Card. I still think of those performances.

I'm listening to an audio book about vigilante spy women who uncover a plot by the International Monetary Fund. no joke. Its called FAST TRACK by Fern Michaels


almost every day I listen to part of The Realization of Life by Rabindranath Tagore

other then that I do too much internet reading and staring at my drawings to have any other eye time.

yeah this one is great. the woman who reads it does all these different accents of the charlies angel's-esq group..but there are like more nationalities..she does 'good' impressions of various male thuggish types and detectives as well
