What are the best greens/ foods for teeth remineralisation?

Hello, I was rather hoping somone might be able to share with me the best greens/raw foods for teeth remineralisation and health as well as answering as to whether raw spinach daily could be a problem for tooth health or if it is only when cooked that spinach poses the threat.

Thankyou all!

you and me both! lol.. well baby spinach is lower in oxalic acid than regular spinach so that has to be a good thing for the teeth.

for tooth/ bone remineralization it's all about the silicon. i developed painful teeth from misusing hydrogen peroxide on my teeth. they hurt so bad for months. i followed david wolfs advice to make a stronge batch of horsetail and stinging nettle tea (2 of the highest food sources for silicon) i drank 10 cups every day and with in 3 days my teeth remineralized and i haven't had any pain since. that was 7 months ago. i still drink the tea every so often because i know it's good for my bones.

go to your health food store and get organic dried horse tail and stinging nettle. i probably used about a half cup of each or more in about 4 litres of water. put it all in a big pot. bring water to as low a temperature as you can and leave it just 'bathing' all day. after about 4 hours or more you'll have a good batch. dump it all inot blender, blend on high (this is to extract every last bit of the silicon). strain and drink it all.
it's actually a really nice tasting herbal tea.
you could sweeten and add goji's for fun. it's also super good cold, like an ice tea. very refreshing. using this tea as a base in a raw cacao drink is fab as the high magnesium in cacao boosts the bone mineralization.

regarding the spinach. the controversy is over the oxalic acid content of spinach and other leafy greens and foods.
oxalic acid binds to calcium and sweeps it out of the system. i'll just breifly say that you do not have to worry about this with raw foods. if you research this you'll find that the studies done on oxalic acid where done on cooked food.
this concerned me very much once apon a time but i have no worries about it now.

Thanks for the info! Can I ask how you "misused hydrogen peroxide"?

Thanks so much for this post. I'm always looking for thngs for bone strenth. I have afamily with a history of osteporosis, and my mom was just diagnosed at a really young age. I'm trying to do everything I can now to avoid being in the same boat while I've still got time.

Jen: silicium + magnesium = the best calcium. Try to combine with magnesium-rich foods..

Whole (rinsed) Dulse Leaf is excellent for helping with remineralization. Raw food leader (& low-fat high fruit vegan) David Klein swears by it, and claims it has really helped him with his teeth problems. It is high in major minerals as well as trace minerals. It is also very palatable and easy to digest. I try to stay away from dried foods in general, but I view dulse as a type of natural mineral supplement to my diet.

To save money, I buy my whole leaf dulse in bulk (5 pounds at a time ... lasts forever!) directly from the folks who harvest it and sun-dry it off the coasts of Grand Manaan Island, New Brunswick, Canada. It is my understanding that the ocean waters are mineral rich and pristine in this area.

The mineral silicon is most important for remineralising, wild greens are higher in these minerals such as nettle dandelion, purslane ,lambs lettuce etc. Also horsetail. Go out on a wild food walk and learn all the wild greens of the seasons. Cucumbers and tomatoes and pepper skins are all high in silicon

I've communicated via email with the guy in that video. If you follow his advice you will be eating lots and lots of raw meat, organs and dairy. Not my thing.
