Codex Alimentarius is a ruling that would make all food irradiated, worldwide. Irradiated food means it is no longer fresh and raw. All enzymes will be destroyed. Nearly all nutrients and antioxidants will be gone, while more toxic free radicals will be in the food. Food will not only be dead, but also deadly:
"Billions of people will suffer from degenerative diseases due to poor nutrition and limited access to health supplements if the powerful global corporations behind the new Codex standards are allowed to 'harmonise' the world." -Gregory Damato, PhD
Moreover, Codex will make the labeling of genetically modified organisms unnecessary by law.. GMOs have been proven to be dangerous. Lab animals raised on GMOs have smaller organs, including brains.
Codex will make health supplements unavailable except in small, virtually ineffective doses, and then only by prescription from a medical doctor.
Your health freedom is at stake. The big food and drug corporations that profit from Codex plan to have it passed on December 31, 2009.

Adom
have you heard what she is going to do with this petition, have you watched the film of her speech on youtube, it's worth a watch...:)
And yes it's a start but from what I've heard a powerful one.
Buy directly from the farmers if you can. I don't think they will be irradiating while the produce is moved from the field to the farm stand. Or, better yet, grow your own.

Yeah, I found out that I could no longer buy fresh unpast. pommegranite juice at the farmers mrkts here in LA last weekend. The vendor said someone narked on the compnay he works for for sellling raw juices.
How would Lisa Simpson handle this? Oooooo! When do we get to start eating the fuzzy green snowball foods like in the movie "Brazil"?! Or maybe some good old fashioned futuristic Soylent Green crackers?
Won't the FDA people be so proud when their great grandchild'n grow up with tiny compact internal organs...they probably won't need as much food really.
Well, this sure is motivation to start saving $ to flee the city and get some land.
Insanity. Tune in turn on drop out

This sounds too Orwellian to be true. I mean, what the bleep is going on here? It's almost like they have been paying attention to the raw food movements and saying, "We've got to stop this if we are going to keep selling our drugs to people." They must know that eating raw will heal the diseases they are medicating. No disease, no sales. I cannot believe my friggin eyes. Seriously. They are mandating irradiation of all foods? WTF.
Marc, that's how it is, they know they can't compete openly with nature, when they sell pharmaceutica.
They will loose, so the rules of the fighting will be changed...
2 apples
10 pineapple guavas
small cup steamed, sprouted black beans with raw spinach, pepper, tomato, cilantro (no salt)
2 sticks celery
6 red bananas
10 more pineapple guavas
7 satsuma tangerines
1 pomegranate
10 dates
I have not used the stuff for years, it gives me heart palpitations.
but when I did use the stuff my 1st choice was liquid (especially the flavored ones they have like toffee)
2nd choice: white, which is more processed, but I can not even stomach ...
Soft rock is soft, not driving rock, but soft gushy love songs, romantic, smooth..stuff you are embarrassed to admit you like.
Stuff that makes you imagine you are swimming with sea horses, or hanging out on a rainbow with your love.
Only because Suvine asked me to.
I have almost no idea what qualifies as soft rock, but if most of the music here is any indication, that's probably because I don't actually like soft rock. For the most part. Does Queen qualify as soft rock? I ha...
