I had a great raw pregnancy with my second child.
I loved getting the sun on my belly and listening to Whale music.
I worked as a massage therapist/reflexologist until I was 8 months pregnant.
I was active and felt very well throughout this special time.
I ate juicy fruit and Avocados.
I only put on about 10kg, which I lost just a few days after the birth.
Cappi was born at home, under water with just my partner, my elder son and an independent midwife. No doctors!
The birth was beautiful, a fairly long second stage, but no rips or tears and it was so nice to be able to get into my own bed straight after the birth.
I loved the control and comfort of being at home with just loved ones around me.
It was also very special to have my elder son there to welcome his little brother.
One of the benefits of an all raw pregnancy was that my stomach went back to flat the next day after giving birth.
With my first child, I was in transition and it seemed to take ages to get a flat belly again.
The photo is my stomach the next day after giving birth to Cappi. I was amazed at the difference between transition and all fruit, in terms of getting a pre-pregnancy figure back.
Both pregnancies were wonderful and full of joy though.

Your births and pregnancies sound beautiful Starfire.
Thank you for sharing. Amazing that you had your first birth of twins at home and underwater. Beautiful ♥ and very inspiring.
Do you think your children have an affinity for water, as a result of their births ? Cappi loves to stand outside in torrential rain!
It is the most awesome experience giving birth. Can't really express it in words.

I've only had one, I was on again off again raw in the end I was very high raw and I did a lot of yoga, meditation and walking/hiking my last tri. The birth was a home birth... about 8 hours total labor, but it really didn't feel that long, I was in a deep meditative state and it felt very much like I was leading myself in another kundalini pregnancy yoga class... I was in a trance and I really enjoyed it! Most of the labor took place in water but in the last 20 min. before she was born I really wanted to get out of the water so she was not born in water. She latched on practically immediately and is 15 mos. old now and almost exclusively breastfed still.
That's hilareous. My husband looks at the sun to make himself sneeze. There's some weird phenomena that 10% of the population has that looking at the sun makes them sneeze.
being connected nope not a coincidence...raw opens up our chakras and there you have it,wham it hits you in the face sometimes Chris, its intense but intensely exciting...
yup i love hearing everyone different ways and experiences its wonderful to...
Hi Loren. Dillon is 6 years old, very skinny and eats like a horse, I have noted in the past that when he has had a virus and been suffering from fever and lack of appetite that his autism is less severe.
celery is hugely important in my diet,as i dont add salt to anything..when i do have the occasional piece of sunbread or raw chocolate which contains salt,i reallllly feel it quite negatively....
great advice Loren :)
Great points RG you're right, one size dosent fit all. For me it was purely a health thing to start, but then as you so well described it, the layers started peeling back. It really took me by surprise, was very unexpected, which is why I now just...
Hi Nicole,
How old is your son? As far as diet, I would be giving him plenty of fruit, and plenty of simple salads, including lots of tomatoes and perhaps some celery as both are high in sodium.
But as I understand it, salt cravings are usually ...
