Give it to me Raw

I've been a raw foodist for roughly 10 months. For the first three months I lost about seven pounds. Although, I didn't switch my diet from cooked vegan to raw vegan to lose weight, the loss in poundage was appreciated. Now that I've been raw for awhile, I've gained it all back! I feel heavy and irritable and bloated all the time. I'll eat a green smoothie and feel bloated, I'll eat a salad and feel bloated, i'll eat a banana and feel bloated.

I'm not sure what's going on, but I've been on and off hormonal birth control for the past 7 months which may be a contributing factor. Also, I work evenings 5 pm to close and don't get home until about midnight so eating dinner is always a struggle. Maybe eating too late?

I've tried to cut back on nuts as I've found I overindulge and I'm convinced it makes my skin breakout. I've cut back on avos and overt fats except a little olive oil and dha oil in my salads.

I'm at a loss.

Try eating organic apples for a day. Preferably grannie smith if you can get them, but just eat apples. Whenever you are hungry. You can chop them up differently, to your liking, or grate them with some fresh ginger or lemon juice. Do this for a day and you'll feel better again. Then just stick to really basic foods for a few days... go easy on bananas etc. They are quite starchy. Bring them back in to your diet when your stomach settles down. You body is trying to tell you it needs a break, that is all.

Can you bring a snack to work, like a pre-made smoothie that you can just shake up and sip while you work? You could have something at about 4:30 before you start, then something on your break (surely you must get one!!!) - which means when you get home you'll be fine and won't need a larger meal. You could divide your late meal into 3 mini meals and get away with that without feeling deprived or guilty about it (which might also lead to bloating). Hope this helps. :)

I've been wanting to read into it a little more. I just hear about it from you guys all the time and it sounds interesting. I'd give it a shot. I did a two-day fruit feast and i felt better after and during that, but my teeth became really sensitive just in that short duration.

Colon hydrotherapy.

When you eat too late, your body will not completely digest it. Try taking some raw food bars to work and eat there, not too late, 6-7pm if possible.

I would love to know your plan for escaping mandatory vaccines, but I don't reckon you'll want to post it here. :(

I have never dried them myself, but in France and Italy you can buy them already dried (at what temperature I don't know). It was awhile since I ate them (before I went raw).

My saliva has never commented on how I smell. But my mouth tastes fine. And, in case you were wondering, my various excretions all smell good too!
