Give it to me Raw

So as of late I'm not entirely up to date with all of the immunizations and vaccines and what not that I'm supposed to have done - and lately my doctor has been pushing me to get the new Gardasil vaccination (one that's supposedly meant to prevent some forms of cervical cancer) and my parents are saying that I need to get the rest of my vaccinations done as well. I believe I'm supposed to be getting a hepatitis one done along with some other one (can't remember the name lol) but apparently it's for some flu-like disease that can be fatal. However I feel very uncomfortable with the general idea of getting them done but I also do want to protect myself from becoming ill. Not to mention with all the talk of the swine flu going around it's raised some alarm and has begun to make a lot of people nervous lately.

Sooo my question is - what does everyone think about being vaccinated? Is it a risk to not have it done? Would it be better to just get the shots or to rely on my immune system to protect me all on its own? And what about people who aren't raw? My fiance eats a fairly healthy diet (albeit a SAD one) but he's by no means raw. Should he be vaccinated?

My first read on this subject was Wendy Lydall's Raising A Vaccine Child. I think she does a really good job of dispelling every myth out there. She also opened my eyes to how many excuses there are for why a vaccine doesn't work.

Since then I have done more reading as well but my standpoint remains the same. I will not vaccinate my child and won't vaccinate myself again.

vaccines do not work. Theres never been any science proving that they prevent anything, a lot of the time they actually cause what they are suppose to prevent. God never invented vaccines, so why would we need them?

If you are keeping tabs on the latest pharmaceutical/governmental
push for cervical cancer immunization then you will want to read
the articles resulting from Dr. Mercola's web links:

http://v.mercola.com/blogs/public_blog/Three-Girls-Died-Others-Hosp...

If you are having a challenge with the concept of
vaccination/immunization then you need to re-evaluate your personal
health philosophy.

You need to determine whether;

1. You believe in the 'Germ Theory' of disease causation - whereby
an infitesimal life-form can find a firm hold within your body and
from which a war of life and death can and often does ensue.

- And the corollary to this line of thinking is to 'Call in the
cavalry' - 'arm the defenceless organism' - preferably before,
during and after the battle.

All life exists in an environment that is 'best suited' for its own
peculiar structure and function.

- Germs enjoy environments that are dark, moist, humid and
sufficient with enough rotting material so as to satisfy a hardy
appetite.

- If you want to remove a germ - clean up the environment - no
germ of any worth would be 'caught dead' in a well-kept house.

In the process of removing the cause(s) of germ infestation - your
health will absolutely sky-rocket up the ladder of health and
happiness.

The OTHER health philosophy says;

2. Diseases are symptoms of the body's right action in a specific
situation.

- Diseases are not things - they are conditions - indicators of the
body's ability to restore itself to a state of health and vitality.

- The 'disease' is the body's response to a condition of 'Toxemia'
- a condition of poor quality metabolism.

We have a simple choice;

1. Live in a manner so that health is the result.

2. Live in a manner so that less than health is the result.

Ladies and Gentlemen: There are no faeries at the bottom of the
garden.

I work at a caregiver at an assisted-living facility with senior citizens. One woman has hepatitis B. She gets chronic diarrhea. I clean her up. I'm told if I have a micro-cut on me an air born particle from fecal cut could contaminate me. I wear gloves but I definitely have tiny wounds on my hands, like the scrapes from my bike accident the other day.

It's really not in my best interest to get a hep B vaccination?

Part of my concern is that I want to legally establish that I don't take vaccinations. I want religious exemption if the government mandates swine-flu shots.

I'm training to be a C.N.A. I can't do clinicals in the hospital because I don't have shots. Get this: when I inquired about religious exemption, I was told that only applies to hepatitis B. Can that be true?

Is it natural to take a puss secretion which has been grown in a lab and inject it into your body? Does that sound natural? Would God want me to do this?

This is what my mom recommends too. The thing is I live in a high-rise building in NYC, so I'm definetely not "grounded". The grounding bed technology makes sense, but it doesn't feel natural to me. Has anyone tried it? Did you notice any changes...
