To hell with Obama
So many of us in the USA had high hopes for Obama. But then he started putting together his team and the members outright suck. He's pissing off many people...from his gay supporters, to his environment activists supporters.
For example, concerning his Secretary of Agriculture pick. Fuck this guy...and fuck Obama:

And all you raw foodists in Hawaii...next time he vacations there...organize protests!!!

Thanks, Twitch - I sincerely agree with you and appreciate you describing how I feel! By no means do I consider myself a democrat (not sure there even is a party as left as I am, haha) but am thankful beyond belief that the election went for Obama. Right now, in this country, we have no way to elect candidates who aren't funded by corporations, and will in turn make decisions based on corporate interests (election reform anyone?). I think this election went pretty well by anyone's standards, as opposed to what we *could* have gotten. And also absolutely agree - even though it may not be our "ideal" candidate, we can only use the tools and resources that are available to us. Write 'dem reps!

i think that its this ^ kind of thinking that is the most dangerous, to believe that something different and worse could of happened. this false sense of power and choice makes us even weaker and more apathetic. I totally agree on election reform, and writing them representatives! Congress is the best angle to work from now, besides our personal spending and consumption.

Obama Rama! send him good energy! He has established a good standing in the psychic envelope of the world. There's not much hope for the leader's of our society to change their ways, and start acting compassionately. That wouldn't make sense in the capitalism game... But the thing is, our planet is ascending into a more conscious state either way! There's going to be a lot of resistance, especially from those leader's. I get the idea that Obama isn't as controlled as we think he is, that he's a little naive to the power structure, and that he's been put in place as the most influential person on the planet (as far as how many numbers of people he reaches) because he's going to help a lot of people through this change. I don't think that he's going to make all kinds of amazing policies, save the economy, or be this savior that we're hoping for. But so many people have the faith that he will be, which is why he has the ability to be effective. The system is a game, and its not him making all these negative choices that bother people.... he has to compromise because of so many reasons... but the way in which he can really shine, is through his communication with the people!!! By taking the faith that people have in him, and keeping them sane! Shit is gonna drive some people crazy!! =) But he has potential to do some good peace keeping. !!! luv luv luv

First, Obama is a politician. For anyone to put "high hopes" in any politician - Democrat, Republican or other, is useless. Second, the guy hasn't even gotten into office and the knives are out already. Third, if it only takes this to make you drop your support for Obama, then, well, perhaps a re-examination of the basis of that support is needed? Maybe?

I use to fast before I was a raw vegan so I did not feel I needed to detox first. But everyone is different. I think if someone is doing drugs and other things they might want to wait to do a long fast.
