Chances are we're not the only planet with stuff on it. There are more stars in the universe than grain of sands on Earth. Life probably exists elsewhere. But for these aliens to have visited us, they'd have to know where to look. Finding the proverbial needle in a haystack would actually be easier by comparison. And even if they knew where we were, they'd have to have the means to get here. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, or even that it hasn't happened, but I'd need a heck of a lot more proof than the grainy photos and conspiracy theories that abound.
And I don't know if we're just bags of flesh. Maybe there's more, who knows. But you say that with a certain amount of disdain. If that's all we were, I'd be okay with it. What matters most is enjoying every moment we have.
I don't follow your offer. What are we supposed to send and receive?
Yes, there (a) Truth. It is within us (If I understand you correctly, you're curious if we believe in "Truth"). My take on the various (famous) spiritual masters, of which there have been quite a few - btw, I don't follow any religion and I am not the least bit interested in anyone's following of same - is that these people were have a "religious" experience, but really were feeling God within themselves. Seekers, or those wishing to feel that beautiful feeling of life within them flocked to these teachers, who imparted something MORE THAN MERE WORDS, so that the students did not need to be fed by the Master every day - except with words to inspire and remind.
I think that opinions are "in the eye of the beholder", but that Truth is one and same for everyone. In other words, there is something inside of us that ties us all together in love. And that love is what most of us hide from, since we have been conditioned to look outside of ourselves and deny that humanity, or humanness, or SAMENESS that is within us. That is the Truth, inside of us we are all the same. There's no differences. We've been taught to see the differences on the outside, and that is why people are so unhappy. If we humans knew the truth, there'd be a lot of joy all over. And we'd be sharing it, and loving it, instead of talking about silly stuff, and griping about our lives. The true miracle is each breath that is so precious - when it starts to leave we would give everything we have just for one more.
Thanks for asking.
Those other issues you mentioned are over my head. Besides, I'm ready for bed.

If what I observe makes me feel bad? I assume that its connected to memory, or to prewired associations between what I see and the emotions that are connected. The associations between visual and emotional response are wired in our brains through every experience we have since birth. Hmmm...
Wired by an environment we didnt control.
