Hi, just came across this great video today. It's 20 minutes long and one of the most clearly presented videos I've seen on the the subject of consumption and waste.
I love this video. It really inspires me to live simply and buy locally. Having worn my old blanket thin, I recently bought a wool blanket made from wool from really healthy, well-cared for sheep that live down the road from me and made by local weavers. The blanket is so strong, thick and warm that I know it will last for the rest of my life if I take care of it.
I still use the blanket my mom made for me about 29 years ago!! When my husband and I fight I threaten to take it away from him and he realizes that I mean serious business. He has come to value it as much as I do.
