u just steal my words.
non organic food freaks me out for the most part. PLus i dont think i could live on fruits and veggies that were conv. since the taste is .... well non existent
hmmm i disagree. I think it's a big difference and people would recognize it. This study just screams B/s to me. Did you read the recent one from australia how vegetarians have lower bone density.
1) that would mean they are still consuming milks products which are supposedly the key in healthy bones ....so why are they having problems.
2) Vegetarian does not mean healthy.
blah blah i have gotten to my wits end on all this b/s coming out about food consumption.
I know!! so blatant.
I had the radio on and the DJ mentioned this study a few times, then it was on the news, I was like 'ok what's the deal here?!!' so stupid that people will listen to these 'scientific studies' and base their opinions on them - surely all that's needed is common sense?
As more people take responsibility for their own health; (my hope and intuition say) they will rely on their own experience and common sense rather than these external sources.
My room mate whom I have never seen eat anything other than Hot Pockets, Frozen Pizza, microwave hot wings, and (when he's on a diet...lol) Lean Cuisine, showed me that article and just simply beamed, thinking he had one up on me.
"I told you organic produce was a scam!" he yelled.
I turned my blender off and said, "As if you eat fruits and vegetables anyway."
Yeah! I have been getting into apples big time, and discovering new ones that I have not tried before like the Honey Crisps! I always like the Gala too great for raw recipes!
Thank you for your positive words everyone. I've been raw for 8 months and it was simply dissappointing to have gone through such a binge! Besides I felt physically awful!
Onward we march from here! lol
