Just curious, as Im doing my monthly bulk shopping today......
Whats the most important food in your kitchen. It used to be Id have said my wheatberries. Now Im thinking its my organic raw sunflower seeds. I REALLY like my Miso & Nori too now days. I do keep a BULK pantry and have LOTS of nuts (almost feeling squirrel like - lol) but was left to wonder....whats the most important staple in YOUR kitchen....besides greens of course.

sea vegetables (including powdered dulse and kelp), spirulina, varieties of greens, citrus, berries, olives, varieties of fruits and vegetables and sproutable things. They are all together, the variety of them, important in combination.
Have you read Cherie Soria's book: "The Raw Revolution Diet"? That and Velya and Sergei Boutenko's "Fresh" are tops.
Would be interesting to see a decision-making chart related to what is the draw of this raw food book or that raw food book. I wish I could afford them all....cant at the moment.
Interesting how things go in cycles isnt it. Makes me think completely differently about keeping a food journal now days. Dont care how MUCH I each (of raw food), but really want to see patterns with the seasons, etc.
So cool. Thats what I will do for breakfast in the morning. I have both. I made grapefruit juice w/ an apple tossed in the juicer for good measure this morning. I soaked some chia once with water before (when it first arrived) to add later to smoothies, but it wasnt real appealing and soured horribly in a few days....it looked too much like clear fish eggs to me - lol. Never thought of putting it in juice. How much juice to how much chia seed?

I don't know if you can open up someone with your concepts who is not predestined for it ....
