I’m sorry, but has anybody else had enough of the notion that to be healthy and successful on raw foods you need to buy a ton of powders and potions from some super dude on the net who claims to feed himself entirely on a diet of avocados and lettuce? It just doesn’t make any sense. They then sell you the video explaining to you are never able to stay 100% raw and their NEW super powder that will help you even more. …. But it cost an arm and a leg because it’s harvested by monkeys that live in the hidden forests of machu pichu.
Seriously, do they think we are all THAT gullible?
How did the original concept of naturism become so distorted and bastardized by hungry entrepreneur?
Want the secret to staying 100% raw and healthy ….. click here and I’ll give it to you for free! :D
I don't buy superfoods but I can't discount the possibility that some day my body will have some deficiency or weakness that could be helped by something out of the norm. So I keep an open mind. And I'm wild and crazy enough to have some raw cocoa that I eat maybe two times a month.
hmmm...whats wrong with recieving things from machu pichu? its a beautiful place! true, its good to eat locally but...where would i be without my cocao, which doesnt even grow in america, right?
i appriciate condensed foods like superfood powders, cuz there great in smoothies...and i think humans CAN improve food...through processess of creating superfoods...why not? ...because theres MONEY involved doesnt create a negative vibe between me and the food...anymore...im here to have the best life ever, and if that includes makin money for foods, superfoods, whatever else my raw life fancies, I CANT FIGHT IT! i gave up complainin about the cost of ANYTHING i desire...if your desire is to eat simply without fancy powders, that might be the HEALthIEST thing for you. if your bitter cuz theres money involved, well sister, welcome to the world!
I've just read through this entire post and sure had a good laugh. Thank you all who contributed.
:D
There is no ONE diet. There is a CURRENT diet, i.e., the one that works for YOU... TODAY.
What worked yesterday maybe different than what works today.
What works today may be different than what will work tomorrow.
Change is constant. We move, change, and evolve (hopefully) all the time.
I find it funny that people get so incredibly offended by what someone else chooses to eat (or listen to, or promote, or fill-in-the-blank). Who cares? I mean, really? Does it change anything regarding your personal health?
FREE WILL is beautiful.
It enables us to take in information, discern what we choose to keep, and act on that information, again, as we choose.
Leave the rest.
To each his own.
Que sera sera.
yada yada yada

hahaha. lol i would really love to see somebody interview david wolfe and ask confront him on these issues.
i saw a really good thing on 30bananas a day with an interview and david wolfe was originally fruitarian and he did not believe in supplements, dehydrated or packaged foods.
i like alot of his work like his sunfood pyramid. i think the green, fat and fruit approach he had is really moderate and great
for beginners of raw food and the whole wild food thing is really good too. some of the foods he eats seem so exotic when they are in their fresh straight from the tree state. but the whole sales thing just makes him look ridiculous. he doesn't go a sentence without saying the best day ever.
Why is he still planting fruit trees then. He says he wants to plant fruit trees across the face of the Earth. If what you say is true, then what is the point?
i'm not actually fruitarian myself nor do i know if it's the right approach to raw food. just pointing out the irony more so with the supplements because he was very not into fractured foods and how sells cacao ect. personally though i think the whole foods he is into like aloe, coconuts ect are great.
ripped and beautiful :) it may just be me but being so stong, especially in that area, rises the idea in your head of power and that you will soon be sprouting wings.. :)
I've watched that. It is so weird that they have that show on. I also watched the old v's. They are a trip- with 80s hair and the spacesuit type outfits they wear. If you look at how small our planet is compared to others like Niburu- you can see ...
I'm on a computer in the library right now (as I was on Thursday), so any posts may be a little short. I was a little stressed by the reapplication information about the CAB because I had the same issues with finding paid work to fit around it bef...
Thanks for checking this out Vamp. It is truly amazing if you can be open minded enough to watch the video. People act like we haven't invented space travel. If you can accept that- then how hard would it be to accept jumping onto a planet that is...
starting to plan for this now ! right in the midlle of holidays !
i'm thinking about doing a week, but may extend with blended foods depending on how much detox I experience. Can't get the 'flu' just yet.
thanks....so grateful & dave is the best !...
Hi El-bo,
You're absolutely right; sodium is not the problem, but sodium chloride, and inorganic mineral salt which always causes water retention and raises blood pressure. We don't need any of that.
