Give it to me Raw

I’m sorry, but has anybody else had enough of the notion that to be healthy and successful on raw foods you need to buy a ton of powders and potions from some super dude on the net who claims to feed himself entirely on a diet of avocados and lettuce? It just doesn’t make any sense. They then sell you the video explaining to you are never able to stay 100% raw and their NEW super powder that will help you even more. …. But it cost an arm and a leg because it’s harvested by monkeys that live in the hidden forests of machu pichu.

Seriously, do they think we are all THAT gullible?

How did the original concept of naturism become so distorted and bastardized by hungry entrepreneur?

Want the secret to staying 100% raw and healthy ….. click here and I’ll give it to you for free! :D

I have nothing against salesmen either as long what they are selling is worth buying. I've personally never bought anything from DG except his book.

* So the rest seems not to be woth buying to you, regarding Dr Graham, it seems to me

you can also say most of Dr Graham offerings is Quack, quoting your own words....

Lightlover,

What's your agenda? You seem to be out to discredit Dr. Graham. How about supporting what you believe in and stop trying to tear people down. Let's keep this constructive please.

1) Doug requires an income, like most people. Unlike most people, he probably is buying up Costa Rican rainforest and helping to conserve it in the process.

2) Some people have the money to spend and are happy to spend it for this information. (and a trip to Costa Rica)

3) Some people need support, moral or otherwise, in taking courageous steps to make positive changes in their lifestyle. They may not have the support of family members, friends, and co-workers. Being in a group of like-minded folks will help them on their path. That is probably invaluable for them.

If money is an issue, as it was for me when I was transitioning to raw, then we do what we can. We live frugally, we don't spend beyond our means, we educate ourselves, and we succeed on our own terms. Maybe that makes us stronger, but does that give us the right to judge those with a little more financial cushion to invest their money in their health? Or to judge them for circumventing the "harder" way that those with financial constraints had to forge on their own? Personally, I think it's great that Doug or David W. or Gabriel C. and others are able to find their niche audience and inspire them to heal, learn and grow. The "leaders" of this nutritional health movement have all worked hard in life and have devoted their energy to gaining knowledge and sharing it with others. They don't live in mansions. They live simply. Rather than judge them for charging money for their time, or what may seem like high prices, we will all be better served by re-directing our energy to support their efforts by re-framing our interpretation of what they are doing in a more positive light.

david wolfe is david wolfe. you are you. you both have unique destinys and dreams, and because david beat you to it,(raw food success) doesnt mean you should be jealous.

we all need money, and if you have a better way, to earn a living, go for it. just dont bring a brother down for finding raw 15 years ago, and your on year one. who knows, by year 15, you could be making more money then him doing what YOU love.DONT BE JEALOUS!

when you realize theres enough life to go around for all of us, the beating down of another mans success will seem heartless, as your desires ARE manifested. this may take time, to not be jealous, OR EVEN SPEND ONE MORE THOUGHT MAKING FUN OF ANYONE, to make your mad self feel better...

nit picking somebody whos delivering a powerful message, however perfect he is at doing it(or inperfect) is like your the school bully.you know how good it feels to feel good about yourself? to be the STAR of your own show?

MONEY GOVERNS EVERYTHING!!!

But STRUCTURE GOVERNS FUNCTION - and we aren't structually made to take folic acids or powders or inorganically-acidic stuff.

8 Modalities of Health
Living Foods, Sunshine, Pure Water, Pure Air(diaphramic breathing) - Exercise, Happiness, Spinal Integrity, Rest

Food doesn't heal sick people - it assimilates nutrients and in the case of sick people - they can't assimilate nutrients - and it takes huge physiological energy to do so. But with Digestive rest......

The metabolism can work without food to eliminate all those toxins and poisons laid down in tissues. It does this with FEVER. aka acute disease.

Chronic disease you need to raise vitality to get a fever. You do this with the 8 modalities of health in a well-balanced life style. 8 modalities of health are biological requirements of healthy and sick people - except in the case of FEVER - when you don't need food. Or when you don't feel like eating - don't.
