Give it to me Raw

I’m sorry, but has anybody else had enough of the notion that to be healthy and successful on raw foods you need to buy a ton of powders and potions from some super dude on the net who claims to feed himself entirely on a diet of avocados and lettuce? It just doesn’t make any sense. They then sell you the video explaining to you are never able to stay 100% raw and their NEW super powder that will help you even more. …. But it cost an arm and a leg because it’s harvested by monkeys that live in the hidden forests of machu pichu.

Seriously, do they think we are all THAT gullible?

How did the original concept of naturism become so distorted and bastardized by hungry entrepreneur?

Want the secret to staying 100% raw and healthy ….. click here and I’ll give it to you for free! :D

Amen, sister! :)

Unfortunately, enough people do buy into the whole superfood scam because they simply don't know enough about nutrition. They hear about raw foods and want to give it a go, but are worried that they won't get enough of this vitamin or that nutrient. That's where supplements come in!

Luckily, the low fat, high fruit raw diet is FINALLY becoming more readily accepted and embraced by the raw food movement.

Love the link, btw. ;)

Good to see that there are so many clever rawies!

Banana's are a marketing scam.

I prefer to eat locally grown organic foods. I prefer not to eat foods grown 10,000 miles away from home. I support my local farmers

Banana's are harvested by monkeys that live in the hidden forests of machu pichu. Down with banana's, their carbon footprint is way to high

Mike you dont need to eat narnies if they are not grown locally, you can eat any fruit you like!
Thanks for keeping it real and keeping it local!

depends where you live.

Agreed, unfortunately some of the people pushing those ideas are members of this group, using the exposure they receive from it. I had a very unpleasant experience with one of those members. I ordered something from them that was delivered to me damaged and unusable (Agave) and never heard a word back from them. Lots of $$$ for no product. Therefore I for one am off of hyped up products and onto just plain old good raw fruits and vegies!

Unfortunately almost all banana's are monocultured hybrides, and the largest amount of banana's is made

from only 2 types (out of all the possible varieties which could exist, if for money reasons not just

a mere 2 types are being brought into production...) .

This makes the total banana population very sensitive for illness: one very good plague, and it could be over with

banana's.

It is always very good, BEFORE having a certain opinion, to try to falsify this belief.

I hope the falsifying of the BANANA HYPE is made possible by this reaction.

Eating many banana's is supporting the killing of biodiversity.

everybody's health needs are different. why pick on people for being different from you?

i love super foods and noticed dramatic health results from including several of them. i've been intensely studying nutrition for over 4 years now. i trust my own judgement.

the superfoods i use on a regular basis: spirulina, cacao, hemp seeds, seaweed, horse tail, nettle, burdock root, tumeric, garlic, ginger, wild greens, goji.

everyone is different guys. just because something doesn't work for you, doesn't mean it won't be the life saving addition to someone else's diet. you don't know the ultimate health answer for every individual body on planet earth. do you actually think you do?

how about instead of complaining about what other people do and putting them down as not knowing enough about nutrition, or 'falling' for some trick, you could just talk about what works for you and what you do.

I'm starting to love you, Jen.

No Jen, some people won't like it, if something, like superfoods, works for you and not for THEM.....

Like some people won't like it, when you are a Christian and they are a Moslim.

(And vice versa of cause, that belongs to their wonderful logic..).

Just like medical industry won't like it if you heal cancer on your own efforts, instead of INSIDE their

money model.

It is not about you Jen, it is about truth, and the truth of cause is theirs, not yours...

You see, it is all giving me a feeling of deep spiritual practises....of oneness.....

neither wins because the world isn't fair- and we are constantly having to deal with it. the more conscious you are the more you see how unethical people rule the world and you can't wish them away by feeding your happiness with cacao. it's a fun ...

That is a good point Angus. I have found that a lot of fundamentalist religions accuse everyone else of worshiping the devil and it like a blind hysteria- like all these other people have a black bible in their house and secretely worship a statue...
