i used to have a lot of piercings , but now i've removed almost everyone of them. blocks the energyflow. if i wear my septum piercing, i get cold withing hour. and lots of the times it also comes with a uvi. i kid you not. my third eye always made me very tired, so after three attempts i had to accept that it was not for me. sad, cause i really like piercings. when it comes to tattoo.. i guess it's a bad idea to put ink under your skin...but ireally don't care. i love tattoos, so i'll shut my ears and sense instead:D

Tattoo ink is not healthy. I don't like the idea of metal in my ears, but gold is supposed to be the best metal (least harmful) if you do wear them.

At this point in my life, I don't have anything against either one of them, but my views might change, who knows. I People have been peircing their bodys and having some kind of body art since beginning of time. The ink that we use now is not the same as back then and is toxic i believe though. Body jewelry can be beautiful, but I do believe that some people can take it to far.

I don't have a problem with either. However, I don't think tattooing is worth it. The ink primarily used is a type of metal salt in a carrier solution, which supposedly disinfects and stabilizes the pigment. There is also plastic-based(ew!) and vegetable based inks as well that are used. I like henna. It is good for the skin and fades away. No weird metals and no permancy.

I would love piercings. I have the standard lobe piercings, but I rarely wear jewelry in them. I had them stretched at one point, but I kept tearing my lobes(I was overzealous in the process) and let them heal and shrink. I am afraid of a piercing messing with my chakras. :/ I like them though!

If I could find a tattoo artist that uses vegan, organic, healthy ink- I would definitely get a tattoo. I want to get my nose pierced, as well (just a small stud or wire ring on one side- not a bullring or anything intense like that). I would definitely want a gold ring/stud in my nose, as other types of metal tend to be harsher.

Tattoos go under the first layer of skin, far as I know. I've got 3 and plan on getting a few more. As far as piercings go, I've got ears and navel.. have no intention of getting more. Rarely wear anything in my ears. If any of these things are affecting my life/health, I can't tell. All I do know is, I enjoy my body art. I was more concerned about the amalgam in my teeth. That's out at the cost of a few thousand dollar and, you know what? I don't seem to feel any different with it out than with it in and I wished I circulated the money on more tats.

Although I find it can look very pretty, I would never stain my own skin. Apart from the possibly non-vegan and unhealthy ink I just can't imagine having a picture or pattern or whatever on my body "forever" '(as a changing individual).
I used to have a belly/navel (?) piercing. I really loved it in terms of looks (especially for bellydancing), but I eventually removed it because of a piece of metal right in my solarplexus didn't feel "very right" (not really meaning physical pain or something like that here). I have to say that I felt (and am feeling) a lot different and better without. (I was tempted to try to push it through again several times because of vanity but never actually did) :)
I still wear earrings every once in a while though (my "ear holes" are so old that they'll never close again anyway).

my magic bullet burnt out, it was good for travelling while I had it though. Can you get a second hand blender? The cheaper ones I have used don't chop up the greens as well. Try to get something with a higher wattage, like 1000watt.
