I'm not buying into this swine flu freakout consciousness.

Right now I view this "swine flu" as the newest big thing the media can latch onto and exploit in the biggest way they possibly can think up with the goal of keeping people tuned in so that the stations get good ratings so they can charge a happy amount for their advertising space. The news shows love this crap.

Besides that, every so often a flu strain goes around that kills mostly those who are of a weakened state. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't.

Worrying about it does no good. Worrying is about as helpful as banging your head against the wall.

Ways germs enter into your system include these ways: through touching your nose, through touching your eyes, through touching your ears.

Like your teacher told you: "Use a tissue." And keep your hands away from your face.

Also a good thing to rinse out the sinuses every day - even when there is no flu going around.

Yes, the media is in a yapping frenzy about swine flu. Yawn. No big deal.

It's a no brainer: Probably not a good time to go flying about, attending crowded concerts, or swimming in public pools, and so forth.

People who follow a highly nutritious diet including plentiful amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables while avoiding junk foods, and who get daily exercise while getting reasonable amounts of sleep are more likely to have a stronger immune system and are less likely to get sick.

Do what's appropriate.

Swine flu or no, every day is filled with opportunity to dream your dreams and accomplish your goals.

You can spend your time freaking out about something the probably isn’t even going to impact you and spend more time following the news about it until you have information overload, or you can follow your bliss.

I was trying to find a photograph of someone freaking out, as if they are seeing an incredibly scary monster, but I can't find one.

Anyone have a good freakout photo that can make us laugh?

Perfect!.

And we all need to wear those space outfist too so that we don't come in contact with other organisms. They should be selling those space outfits during the commercial breaks from the swine flu news reports.

There is a probability that that very space suit can be rented at a Hollywood prop shop.

Don't forget to shower with Telefunkens new device before putting on the suit. Probably best to shower the suit as well.

I appreciate the plug Jef. (My marketing budget is in the toilet awaiting the stimulus package...... )

The space suits that the astronauts wear when they do the space walks are equiped with sanitation devices that allow the astronauts to go to the bathroom within the space suits.

Imagine, not having to be inconvenienced by having to stop your work to go to the bathroom. We wouldn't have to go into public rest room, where the scary swine flu organisms may dwell.

Maybe Wal Mart will start making their employees wear the devices so they don't have to take potty breaks. (I'm not quite sure how the devices work, and I'm not sure if I want to think about it either).

Wow- I could get my job done so much faster if I didn't have to take potty breaks! I wonder if my clients would be freaked out with me hovering over them, pasting electrodes to their heads while wearing a space suit? Does that present a creepy picture?
Do you think they'll mind if the 2001: Space Odyssey theme plays every time I enter the room?

Now that astronaut lady wearing a diaper to drive across country to stalk a lady makes a lot more sense.

LOL!! She just didn't want to give up the convenience she had become accustomed to, wearing space suits and all;-P

Yeah, I bet she thought "What?? Regular pants don't come with a built-in potty?"

I find it's quicker to make four cuts, scaling the outer skin equally then pulling it away and thumping with a wooden spoon. Plus it's less of a mess and you don't lose any juice because none of the kernels are cut :) There are different varietie...
