I Love food with microbes on it! The more microbes, the better! I am eating fermented raw milk with tons of bacteria and yeasts in it right now. I like to eat wild greens that haven't been washed. I haven't tested the Ultimate Superfoods but remember that food in nature has microbes on it. And you have several pounds of microbes in and on you!

haha yes i know there are microbes in me, parasites, fungi, calcium, all that, AND i'm in the process of getting out of mother nature's recycling routine as well

I sincerely wish you good luck with getting out of mother nature's recycling routine. I haven't met anyone who's done it yet! I feel honored to know that my body will once again become a part of the soil, the air, the rain, the plants, animals, worms and all of the earth when my mission here is complete and I pass on.

I'm so tired of these programs that kill off all of our ecology. I'm more interested in building up the right kind of internal microbe ecology than killing off parasites, fungi and nanobacteria. If we build up the good guys enough, they will naturally fight off the bad guys. It is much better to do it this way than killing off the good and the bad with anti-microbial substances like garlic, black walnut etc.

There are good microbes and there are bad microbes, and there are really bad microbes.

The mold and fungus that grows on stored foods, like walnuts, peanuts, and grains, are the bad microbes.

I use food grade hydrogen peroxide diluted in water to kill the microbes on my walnuts and pecans. It kills them pretty quick!

I haven't heard of Ultimate Superfoods and don't know about their microbes.

If you have enough good microbes in you, then you have nothing to fear from the bad microbes. The good microbes crowd them out.

Um, the hydrogen peroxide will kill microbes, but it's the carcinogenic mycotoxins you need to worry about and it won't get rid of those. I don't worry about microbes...I don't even bother washing things most of the time, but I do worry about such toxins. I don't bother with nuts unless they are fresh or have been stored with true care.

www.rawfromthefarm.com is awesome about delivering truly raw and truly fresh nuts. They keep everything refridgerated fanatically and shell the nuts right before you order them. And if you order the in-shell nuts they are even fresher. Their nuts taste like they just came off the tree.

I am not a big nut eater either - a lot of nuts just taste rancid to me. But I really like Raw from the Farm.

If you take milk thistle seed, it will protect your liver from myco-toxins. I took it religiously when I had to clean out a mold-filled basement and I suffered no ill effects. I have heard that milk thistle seed can even save people who have ingested deadly poisonous mushrooms.

Hi there. I've been using UltimateSuperFoods for some months and find the quality top notch, always fresh and strong. The prices really are wholesale too,.I've researched everything I've ordered so far and haven't found wholefood Cacao products like these yet. The Cacao paste is sooo good, creamy and fresh.Dr. Cassar said he tries many products and choses the best to carry. You tube has videos of him and D Wolfe. They don't carry all the goodies I like so I order elsewhere as well, like "sunfood.com" Cashews are the freshest and most raw I've come across.
Dave Wolfe said you can tell if nuts are fresh, when put in water the stale ones float. So some one with a compromised immune system could eat the ones that stay on the bottom, or use H2O2 as mentioned above. I have a weak system but never had a problem with these 2 companies. I'll try "rawfromthefarm" nuts, thanks. Niki.

Hi Rawstrength,

I don't believe that is true. The bad microbes should never be eaten because they cause disease, and they are very difficult to get rid of. The bad microbes are mostly found in animal products and stored foods like grains and peanuts. They include nasty critters like mold, yeast, fungus, and parasites. Once they get in your bloodstream, they grow and multiply and cause numerous health problems. Eating good bacteria will not get rid of the bad microbes. The only way I know of to get rid of the bad microbes is to eat Phase 1 of "Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine" for a couple months.

Would soaking them help? I've read that nuts in general has alot of anti-nutrients & soaking is always suggested.
