Give it to me Raw

Hi!
I am moving to florida from NYC in 7 weeks and am wondering--I found it a bit hard over the nyc winter to stay raw, and do you think it will be easier in a warmer climate? I don't know how great the produce is in Florida. My mom lives there and says it's "eh" but I don't know how hard she looks.

Any insight would be appreciated!!!!

I know! can I even do that? LOL. As you can tell, I didn't think I'd be leaving nyc quite so soon.....

It has to be easier lol! when I was SAD, I always went "raw" (didn't know there was such a thing then) every summer... All I ate in summer was fresh fruits and veggies. It helped that I worked at a produce stand though.. Just grazed on the produce all day. On cold days I tend to eat more, and heavier foods.

I'm so envious Nycgrrl...where will you be at in Florida? I have heard great stories of how awesome the fruit is in Florida. I'm sure raw will be so much easier in a warmer climate. It would for me, anyway.

Hey there Moth-long time no see! Actually my mom says the produce isn't great, but I have done some digging and found some produce stands near where I'll be (about 30 minutes north of West Palm) that are supposed to be good.

Plus, I like to run OUTSIDE in WARM weather :) Florida will have that going for it. I also think being outside, in the sun, will do wonders for my moods, dontcha think?

You'll love it here. I'm in the Melbourne area and I do lots of organic produce and run a raw circus, so when you're near, feel free to come by for a meet and greet. But down there you'll find an abundance of beautiful weather, people, and fresh organic produce.

Amanda lives near Boca I think, so I'd ask her about the hotspots.

Peace

All almonds sold in California are treated with a gaz or a chemical, in both cases the almond does not sprout, it is hence dead.

Amen, Loren. So do you feel the same way about blending then? The whole fiber is still there with blending so not improving on nature as much as sort of 'pre-chewing', if you will

I'm planning to start enemas too (I think when my roommate will leave next month...). Of course it's unnatural, but we have eaten unnatural for years and years and I believe it can help a lot getting out the waste. I just wanted to ask, what water...
