Give it to me Raw

Im living the 811 way..loving it for the most part except my skin is still mental.
Since being raw, upping the fruit I have all of these little bumps all over my face. Cutting out durian, dates, etc made them less pronounced but they are still all over my face. Its been months n months n months now and my skin is still horrible. Its embarrassing. PLEASE someone tell me the solution? Do all of you other 811ers have good skin?

Just do a candida cleanse. :) I was fine eating fresh fruits and veg while cleansing, with the exception of bananas and dried fruits (wayy to concentrated in the sugar department), and melons (they ferment too easily).

So you think a bath is even better for it than a shower? Skin brushing is a good idea too- Ive been meaning to get one of those.
Upping the greens seems to be a running theme here- didnt think I could up them much more than I already do but I am sure gonna try it anyway!

I'm not hearing anyone mention makeup...make sure you're using quality stuff without all the added chemicals. Bare Minerals, etc. That helped me a lot, but it's mostly my diet that makes me break out.

True, and I now use mineral makeup. It hasnt eliminated the problem though :(

Are you good with food combining? Are you saving the fats untill the last meal of the day?

Do you always wear makeup?

Have you tried msm? (I know it's not very 811, but it does help a lot).

I only eat monomeals really except for my dinner meal of tomatoes/cucumbers/zucchini kinda thing.

I do wear makeup a fair bit, but only mineral makeup.
What is msm and is it hard to find?

MSM is a form of sulphur. Good for the body in all sorts of useful ways - skin/hair growth, bones etc. There's a ton of information about it here. Probably best to have a google, search this site, then make your own choice whether to take it or not.

Oh, but if you do, it'll make you REALLY thirsty (the sulphur needs water to do its thing around your body). You'll need to roughly double your water intake - or at least aim for something in that region - will depend how much you take, of course.

Thank you for your suggestions Xerxes. Did you go through this whole tiny bumps thing? I am unsure how to eat less on 811 and still get the satiation/energy I need.
You are the only one who hasn't told me to up the greens as a cure!
I don't have the dried fruit *stopped when my skin got really bad* or salt or condiments.

I am trying to slow down the makeup, and I only use a mineral powder.

Are you saying this is detox? How long does detox last? Its been about four months of these bumps!

There are so many good suggestions here. I will through my hat in the ring too....
have you tried something else beside the coconut oil to cleanse with? I love coconut oil and use it daily on the rest of my body, but my face is so sensitive that it would definitely cause me to have skin problems. I had issues early on with raw food and face bumps, they went away after a couple of months and adjustments in my cleansing and make-up routine. I was also using a lavender toner and have since changed. I switched to Burt's Bees face wash and it works for me. I use a lotion from a company called Real Purity. I still get a pimple here and there, but not the bumps anymore.

yeah, i second trying something other than the coconut oil. ive heard people rave about coconut oil but my face did not like it at all. i use a gentle, fragrance-free castille liquid soap from terressentials, followed by their flower moisturizer which is amazing. the soap is a bit drying but the only soap ive found that doesnt cause breakouts. and their moisturizer is the only one ive found that lets my skin feel good and moisturized but not greasy. and no i dont work for them ;p i dont have any experience with the bumps youre talking about, but i would say go off the coconut oil and see if that helps--
