Does it actually help? I've always been a passionate person but as of lately I've been having some really bad anger issues resurface. Mostly towards my parents, but it's starting to trickle down in other aspects of my life (work, friends & odd food cravings).
I prefer to keep my business to myself, that's why I don't go to my friends to vent. My immediate family is very close minded & I hate having conversations with them. I'm a little skeptic if a psychologist would actually help me. Has anyone ever went to one? If so, did you find it to help or heal faster?
anytime Danny...and journalling is the best have been doing it for years...just thought today, what will happen when im dead and people find these journals, that could be all revealing hmmm,lol..best to you and warmest hugs :)
Yes, therapy helps.
But you should know that the value of it can't be described by the speed of the healing process or whether you're looking or seeming perfect. Therapy is about coming to terms and coming back to life from a state that can be like frostbite. It's amazing how in this society one can ignore one's issues or walk around with festering wounds and no one would look twice or even encourage you to do anything different. But why would you want to live like that?
Just choose your therapist carefully and you'll be fine!
A friend of mine has had issues with her parents since childhood, she tried everything including numerous counseling sessions, hypnosis etc etc. She then did a two day intensive program called ‘the breakthrough experience’ and now she’s a changed woman. She has absolutely no more anger, resentment, guilt etc...all gone!! She did explain it to me but it’s a little too complex to go into detail on here. I’m sure you can google it as its based on John Demartini's work or you can msg me if you want more details :o) It is pricey but apparently well worth it, I cant believe the difference in my friend she seems so ‘free’ now.

Hey yogabrudder I havent done it so I'm not sure, but from what my friend was telling me they keep working on you until you get the 'breakthrough'. I dont see why they wouldnt give you a refund if it doesnt work but i guess thats something that whoever’s contemplating doing it will need to be ask. xx
I'm afraid refunds are usually out of the question.
As a bodyworker, I would keep working on someone til I broke through, but to not get paid, that is asking a lot. I do work for free sometimes, though, and trade. I am paying for a massage tomorrow.
I was being cynical about the psychology/counseling profession (and just about everything else, ha-ha).
food combining well is super important Callie...
maybe leave having any raw fats til your evening meal and only have one raw fat at a time, and dont combine it with any fruit...
fruits and greens together go beautifully...
however banana and avo...
What did you eat today? I am transitioning into raw slowly...
Here's what I had:
Green Juice (cucmber, kale, celery, lemon, green apple)
2 apples
banana
lots of carrots
humongeous salad with raw dressing
2 soy/gluten free veggie buegers--cooked :...
yeah I've gotten those email to my email I don't know how..they seemed unstoppable..or maybe it was because UI was too lazy to unsubscribe. I only signed up because I wanted to see something that someone linked to!!
i add in heaps of greens Erin...and protein powder when i feel i 'need' it...i was having it daily now im not drawn to it at all...just going with the flow....great how we can share our different experiences hey?
