Give it to me Raw

Hello,
What are your favorite low-sugar salad dressings? I'm kind of getting sick of my lemon juice-salt-garlic concoction.
Thanks!

I like to do a basic lemon juice-salt-garlic-ginger base, and then add different herbs and blend for a nice variation. Red bell pepper is also nice to blend up with that type of stuff for a dressing. I like to do avocado bases too.

Oh, and if oranges aren't too high sugar- orange, red bell pepper, garlic, celery, cilantro, salt. Blend up and pour over salad. Delish!

This is relatively ingredient-heavy but I blend:

.red pepper, about half
.dulse flakes
.agave or honey (you can omit this though if you want low sugar, i do from time to time and it tastes fine without)
.salt and pepper
.oregano
.ACV
.green onions
.fresh basil
.cayenne
.lemon

It is fresh tasting, salty and slightly sweet.

I also love fresh dill blended with miso, vinegar, olive oil, and salt.

And any type of cilantro dressing with fresh cilantro, green onions, cayenne, lemon and olive oil.

Thanks for all the ideas!
Mmm, I love dill. I might try that this week!

Also to that dill recipe I sometimes add lemon and green onion instead of vinegar.

Sun-dried tomatoes, a couple tablespoons of cashew butter, a small tomato, a little olive oil, sea salt, water, basil, etc.

Tahini, ginger, lemon, garlic, sea salt or tahini, dill, lemon, sea salt. I love tahini.

Yesterday I made an asian style dressing.

Sorry I didn't measure but I'm guesstimating..

3-4 Tbl. of wheat free tamari or nama shoyu
3-4 Tbl. of Olive oil
2 Tbl. of apple cider vinegar
1 Tbl. of raw honey or agave
a little fresh ginger, grated
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. of miso, light
1/2 tsp. raw tahini

The olive oil and tamari should be pretty close to equal amounts. Whisk in a bowl until well combined. You will have to taste and see if it tastes right. But it was so good on a salad that I made yesterday. It also tasted really good with ani phyo's ginger almond nori rolls...

I forgot to mention a dash of sesame oil to the recipe above..

I really like an orange with a half of an avocado as a base (or just that) and then you can add some jalapeno, some cilantro or parsley (or both) some cumin and cayenne, garlic and ginger, or maybe a little dulse to give it a little salt. All or any variation of these is dank.

My favourite is pumpkin seeds soaked and then blended with lemon, garlic, sea salt and spices. Add sesame seeds to thicken.

I don't think this exists for humans yet, unfortunately - but what I think would be the healthiest mattress (and virtually free of dust-mites, even bed-bugs which inflict some homes recently) for humans would be the same as the healthiest for pets...
