I like to do a basic lemon juice-salt-garlic-ginger base, and then add different herbs and blend for a nice variation. Red bell pepper is also nice to blend up with that type of stuff for a dressing. I like to do avocado bases too.
.red pepper, about half
.dulse flakes
.agave or honey (you can omit this though if you want low sugar, i do from time to time and it tastes fine without)
.salt and pepper
.oregano
.ACV
.green onions
.fresh basil
.cayenne
.lemon
It is fresh tasting, salty and slightly sweet.
I also love fresh dill blended with miso, vinegar, olive oil, and salt.
And any type of cilantro dressing with fresh cilantro, green onions, cayenne, lemon and olive oil.
3-4 Tbl. of wheat free tamari or nama shoyu
3-4 Tbl. of Olive oil
2 Tbl. of apple cider vinegar
1 Tbl. of raw honey or agave
a little fresh ginger, grated
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. of miso, light
1/2 tsp. raw tahini
The olive oil and tamari should be pretty close to equal amounts. Whisk in a bowl until well combined. You will have to taste and see if it tastes right. But it was so good on a salad that I made yesterday. It also tasted really good with ani phyo's ginger almond nori rolls...
I really like an orange with a half of an avocado as a base (or just that) and then you can add some jalapeno, some cilantro or parsley (or both) some cumin and cayenne, garlic and ginger, or maybe a little dulse to give it a little salt. All or any variation of these is dank.
