Give it to me Raw

Today someone told me, "I don't see what health has to do with nutrition."

Wow. Just wow. What are some funny things you've heard from SAD eaters? Tell me.

That's hilarious! Just the other day my mother had a dream that she and I were in my apartment when all of a sudden she started chomping down on my couch!!! She continued eating it and trying to convince me it was tasty and good for you. I think even though my mother doesn't agree with my diet in her subconscious she knows that what she is eating is garbage! She was eating a couch...to funny!!!

My brother was mowing the lawn and he said "hey don't make lunch today, I've got it covered" me "I don't eat grass, oh wait yes I do"

My brothers couldn't stop laughing!!

I admit its really really really hot here. around 40Celsius and now very humid. we have certain days like this on summer. And then some one asks me, "Arent you feeling hot? This heat is going to kill us all." while dunking into some cooked to death-and-beyond crispy Indian bread or something. Well, heck ya, who wouldnt be feeling pathetic on that???

And while I drink coconut water from roam side sellers (I usually down two to four of them at a time) people would stare at me like i had a drinking disorder. heck. One guy just asked me last day, "How can you drink so much of those?" You can only say,"... cuz they are divine and you should try some more to know yourself :)". Coconuts are so cheap and practically free here. I wish more people would have them instead of Pepsi and poison.

Extra strange comment:

From the doctor upon me telling her that eating wheat makes me bloated, gives me rashes, and affects my concentration: "Oh, but it's not normal to not eat wheat. I'll write a prescription for Prozac for you!"

I wish we could get everything these quacks have said in writing with their signature. They should have that level of accountability for the lives they ruin. It's usually a matter of about a decade for the mainstream to catch up with what "we" know. Then we could hold these criminals accountable--the docs, their pharma-funded education institutions, and the FDA.

Amazing. They're so up in their head (out of their body), right, they don't know how to feel anymore. They don't know how to see. They're taught not to look. They're taught not to know, God forbid to sense—that's why they don't even know what they were squeezing. You know this happens in a more exaggerated scenario fairly often on the operating table with humans. I see it often enough in the news.

Clinical detachment sounds like military training, as they do similar training to numb the heart instincts in order to get the dirty job done. No surprise there.

We need to move back into our heart as a society! Return to wisdom and allow humility.

im confused. matt monarch swears by regular colonic hydrotherapy. its his no.1 raw tip, didn't think it could be dangerous but now it kind of makes sense. enemas seem much more natural in comparison.

I've heard great, great things about Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, CA. I know that isn't really in the Los Angeles area, but it's still in CA and I believe they provide students the option to stay in their 'Living Light Inn'....

The way I see it is that generally people who label themselves are confident of the path they have chosen while, also generally, people don't don't label aren't quite as sure if what they're following is the right way to go.

things that have actually worked for me: Valerian root for tea - very calming... Lemon juice, sliced lemon peel, lemon grass or lemon verbina, raw honey, star anise (optional), maybe some ginger, hot water (let it all infuse together for a while) ...
