Give it to me Raw

I've had a few situations with RawZi where I've asked her to tone down her language on this site and be more respectful of other members.

Recently though she posted this note to another member in a thread:

"Is your face so red from thyroid imbalance and or high blood pressure? The white under the eyes is adrenal, right? Not to pick on you, but the face can give clues as to temprament, and I was thinking of your words I'm responding to Ann: calm, rational and healthy."

No mater how helpful RawZi is to other members, this language and talk does not fly.

This is clearly a personal attack and not allowed on this site.

Do I recognize how helpful RawZi has been to other members? Yes! Belive me, I get emails all the time of people saying "Don't ban RawZi" I think I've got 7 to date.

They did make a difference the first time RawZi and I talked over email. But this time I felt this comment was a slap in my face after I had clearly told RawZi that acting like this is not cool.

I just got one from a good friend even that I'll post below. But one thing I want to be very clear about it, not matter how helpful you are to other members, language like this doesn't fly at all what so ever.

I wish RawZi the best and I really have no ill will to her. I just want to be clear to her and other members that the most important thing for me here at GI2MR is to set an appropriate culture, and a lot of that has to do with making sure people feel safe to share.

I know RawZi has other accounts here on the site, although I do not know what they are, but I can't really do much about that unless someone else comes forward or there is another violation.

Here is the recent message I got from a close friend:

On a totally unrelated subject... I was on the GITMR site yesterday and saw on Rawzi's page that you had asked her to leave.

I don't know what's going on and i certainly don't want to intrude, but she has been nothing but helpful every time I ask a question, and seems to be a very informed person.I perceive her to be a very nice and kind person that really likes to share what she knows and is very much into the subject.

I'm not sure if what I'm saying will help the cause, but I would sure miss her presence if she were gone, in other words, I really hope she can stay :-)

:( Too bad. Rawzi is a very kind, open-minded person and really a wealth of knowledge. I talk to her often and will miss her on here.

I haven't really been paying attention to the recent ridiculous threads and what all has been said, but I'm sure you made the best decision you could. I appreciate that you are trying to keep this a safe place for everyone. It has really been crazy lately.

She has a lot of fans and I know she has shared a lot with people here.

Thanks for your comments Audrey.

I must have missed this thread you are quoting.

Yes, that's way besides the limits between which you can build a community.

Maybe she can return with a new avatar and experience that it can

be just as nice between the lines.

Please don't ban me.

Too late. It's like when you die and you don't know you are dead. You were banned a long time ago.

I don't know why I am poking around in old threads but this just super cracked me up and I had to comment.

A very good decision.

Oh, that is such a shame! She was such a voice for the alternatives if the mainstream vegan raw didn't work for you, and she was brave enough to actually discuss it, as in an exchange of information, rather than just make proclamations.

The community IS the important thing, people need to be able to feel safe. I just wonder how many people won't feel as safe now with RawZi gone - she took a lot of attention off other people that weren't so outspoken about being different, how safe will they feel without her? She also took a lot of attention off people that were looking for attention, they'll probably think it is great she's gone.

Watch all three nights online. Some great info was given, but seemed like it was all about getting people to buy more and more products. All I know is that they made a TON of money.

I irrigate my nose with salt water after almost every shift. I use a little bit of salt with my toothpaste every now and again. My silver fillings are pretty stable and I've noticed a metallic taste in my mouth whenever I use salt so I don't. Clov...

I believe that the body can heal itself if given the support. I'm a nurse in a nursing home and I've seen the body cling to life no matter how much poison is thrown at it.
